14 Degraded Visual Environment (DVE) / Brownout Rotorcraft Enhancement System (BORES) Program Descrip6on The DVE/BORES is an Army aviation program providing critical operational capabilities for the Combat Aviation Brigades (CAB). BORES will initially enable approaches, landing and takeoff (limited hover and ground taxi) for single aircraft operations in a degraded environment.
