1 This document describes the steps for preparing a FPW and FPA Delivery Receipt. To become familiar with the tank configuration of the aircraft, review the diagram below. ompletion of the FPW for a 747 is best managed in three parts, including: 1. The information to be completed before arriving at the aircraft.. The information to be completed from the aircraft after arrival. 3. The information to be completed after fueling the aircraft. 1

Add all tank values together and enter total in Total box. In the Added Gallons (per meter) box, write the Meter reading from the fueling unit. In the Fuel Density = box, write the density of the day reading (if not known, use 6.7). Multiply the Added (per meter) by the Fuel Density, and write the result in the Added Fuel box. Round this number to the nearest whole number and write it in the Added Fuel = box. Add the numbers in the Remaining + and the Added Fuel = boxes, and write the result in the Total alculated box. Divide the Total Indicated by the Total alculated and write the percent difference in the omments box (16.7 / 165. = 97.3 or.7 %) 5

6 This is the FPA for the 747. The completion of this form can be completed after the aircraft is fueled and after the FPW is completed.
