2 THE COMPANY ConocoPhillips is one of the world s largest Independent Exploration and Production companies based on proved reserves and production of liquids and natural gas. On 1 May 2012, ConocoPhillips completed its repositioning into two independent companies through the spinoff of its downstream businesses to a new company, Phillips 66. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ConocoPhillips has operations in almost 30 countries and more than 16,000 people as of May 1, Production averaged 1.62 million BOE per day in 2011 and proved reserves were 8.4 billion BOE as of December 31, ConocoPhillips common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol COP. ConocoPhillips explores for, produces, transports and markets crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, liquefied natural gas and bitumen on a worldwide basis. Key focus areas include safely operating producing assets, executing existing major projects and exploring for new resources in promising areas. The portfolio includes legacy assets in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia; growing North American shale and oil sands businesses; a number of major international development projects; and a global exploration program. ConocoPhillips conducts exploration activities in 19 countries and produces hydrocarbons in 13 countries, with proved reserves located in 15 countries as of December 31, CONOCOPHILLIPS UK LIMITED Headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, ConocoPhillips UK Limited, employs in the region of seven hundred people. Average daily net production in 2010 totalled 175,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. ConocoPhillips upstream involvement in the United Kingdom began in 1964 when acreage was awarded to the company in the first U.K. licensing round. In 1968, the Viking gas field was discovered, and first gas was produced in Since then, the U.K. portfolio has grown to include additional operated assets, as well as interests in non operated assets. FACILITIES Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal Operator: ConocoPhillips (50.0%) Co venturer: BP (50.0%) Located in Lincolnshire, the Theddlethorpe gas terminal receives and processes natural gas produced through the LOGGS, CMS and Viking systems, as well as natural gas produced through the third party operated Pickerill and Saltfleetby systems.
3 Rivers Gas Terminal Operator: HRL Co venturer: ConocoPhillips (100%) The Rivers Terminal is capable of handling 145 MMCFD of natural gas. It processes sour gas from the Calder Field, providing compression and removing hydrogen sulfide before piping the sweetened gas to the third party North Morecambe Terminal for further processing, including nitrogen removal. In 2011, a project to replace the terminal s acid plant began and is being implemented for startup in Teesside Oil Terminal Operator: ConocoPhillips (29.3%) Co venturers: Total (32.9%), Statoil (22.0%), Eni (10.3%), Norsk Hydro (5.3%), Paris Orleans S.A. (0.2%) Completed in 1975, this facility is a crude oil reception, processing, storage and transhipment installation. Crude oil and natural gas liquids from ConocoPhillips J Block and Greater Ekofisk Area fields are delivered to Teesside. Interconnector Pipeline Operator: Interconnector (U.K.) Ltd. Co venturers: ConocoPhillips (10.0%), Others (90.0%) Up to 800 BCF per year of natural gas can be transported through this 145 mile, 40 inchdiameter bidirectional subsea pipeline running from Bacton in the United Kingdom to a reception terminal at Zeebrugge in Belgium. ConocoPhillips has export capability to ship up to 220 MMCFD of natural gas to markets in continental Europe and import capability to ship up to 85 MMCD into the UK market. Looking to the future, ConocoPhillips UK Ltd made a successful application in the UK 26 th licensing round resulting in the preliminary award of five new licenses. GREATER BRITANNIA Britannia Operator: Britannia Operator Limited, a 50/50 joint venture between ConocoPhillips (58.7%) and Chevron (32.3%) Co venturer: BP (9.0%) Britannia is one of the largest natural gas and condensate fields in the North Sea. Commercial production began in Condensate is delivered through the Forties Pipeline to the oil stabilization and processing plant Kerse of Kinneil near the Grangemouth Refinery in Scotland, and natural gas is transported through a dedicated Britannia pipeline to the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) facility at St. Fergus, Scotland. Britannia Satellites Brodgar Operator: ConocoPhillips (75.0%) Co venturer: Chevron (25.0%) Callanish Operator: ConocoPhillips (83.5%) Co venturer: Chevron (16.5%) Brodgar, discovered in 1985, is located in Block 21/3. Callanish, discovered in 1999, is located in Blocks 15/29b and 21/4a. Production started in The fields produce via subsea manifolds and pipelines linked to the Britannia Platform.
4 J BLOCK Judy/Joanne Operator: ConocoPhillips (36.5%) Co venturers: Eni (33.0%), BG (30.5%) Commercial oil production and gas sales from Judy/Joanne began in Gas processed on the Judy Platform is transported through the Central Area Transmission System (CATS) Pipeline, and liquids are transported to Teesside through the Norpipe system. Jade Operator: ConocoPhillips (32.5%) Co venturers: BG (35.0%), Chevron (19.9%), Eni (7.0%), OMV (5.6%) The Jade Field came on stream in 2002 and consists of a normally unmanned platform tied back to Judy. Jasmine Operator: ConocoPhillips (36.5%) Co venturers: Eni (33.0%), BG (30.5%) The Jasmine development, located approximately 51/2 miles west of the Judy production facility, will comprise a Jasmine wellhead platform (WHP) and an accommodation and utility platform bridgelinked to the WHP; a Judy riser and separation platform (JRP) with additional Judy well slots bridgelinked to the existing Judy Platform; and a multiphase pipeline from the WHP to the JRP. Development consent was granted for Jasmine Phase 1 in Peak production is expected to be achieved in SOUTHERN NORTH SEA LOGGS Operator: ConocoPhillips (50.0%) Co venturer: BP (50.0%) The Lincolnshire Offshore Gas Gathering System (LOGGS) complex started operating in The facility receives natural gas from the V fields; Vampire; Viscount; Valkyrie; the Saturn Unit Area: Saturn, Mimas and Tethys; the Jupiter Area natural gas fields: Ganymede, Sinope, Callisto, Europa and NW Bell; as well as the third party fields: Ann, Alison, Annabel, Audrey and Anglia. Natural gas from Viking, Victor, Vixen and Victoria is transported through the LOGGS facilities where it is comingled and forwarded to the Theddlethorpe gas terminal in Lincolnshire, England, via a 36 inch pipeline. V Fields Operator: ConocoPhillips (50.0% 61.1%) Co venturer: BP (38.9% 50.0%) The V fields comprise four separate gas accumulations (North Valiant, South Valiant, Vanguard and Vulcan) and are produced via normally unmanned production platforms. Saturn Unit Saturn Operator: ConocoPhillips (42.9%) Co venturers: RWE (35.1%), Centrica (22.0%) Mimas Operator: ConocoPhillips (35.0%) Co venturers: RWE (50.0%), Centrica (15.0%) Tethys Operator: ConocoPhillips (25.0%) Co venturer: RWE (75.0%) The Saturn Unit lies in Blocks 48/10a and 48/10b and consists of natural gas accumulations Atlas, Hyperion and Rhea. First production began in 2005.
5 Viking Operator: ConocoPhillips (50.0%) Co venturer: BP (50.0%) Viking is situated in Blocks 49/12, 49/16 and 49/17. Viking consists of seven normally unmanned platforms plus one manned main complex, Viking B, and the associated outlying Vixen subsea satellite. Victor Operator: ConocoPhillips (20.0%) Co venturers: Centrica (30.0%), Exxon (25.0%), Dana (10.0%), RWE (10.0%), CalEnergy (5.0%) Victor is an unmanned platform and subsea wellhead structure located in Blocks 49/17 and 49/22. Galleon Operator: Shell (41.6%) Co venturers: Exxonmobil (41.6%), Centrica (8.4%), ConocoPhillips (8.4%) Galleon is located in SNS Blocks 48/15 and 48/20. It has two unmanned facilities platforms and ties back to the Clipper Platform. CMS Murdoch Complex Operator: ConocoPhillips (42.3%) Co venturers: E.ON (24.5%), Tullow (17.0%), GDF Suez (16.2%) Caister Operator: ConocoPhillips (39.0%) Co venturers: E.ON (40.0%), GDF Suez (21.0%) Boulton, CMS III, Kelvin, Katy, Munro, Murdoch Operator: ConocoPhillips (54.5% 59.5%) Co venturers: GDF Suez (11.5% 44.5%), Tullow (9.5% 34.0%) The Caister Murdoch System (CMS) consists of the Murdoch complex, the Caister Satellite Platform and the gas trunk line to the Theddlethorpe gas terminal. CMS acts as a hub for the Murdoch, Caister, Boulton, Munro, CMS III and Kelvin fields and also provides third party transportation. EAST IRISH SEA ConocoPhillips interests in the East Irish Sea include the Rivers Terminal at Barrow in Furness and five gas fields. Millom and Dalton Operator: HRL Co venturer: ConocoPhillips (100%) Sweet natural gas is produced from the Millom and Dalton fields through a platform and two subsea manifolds. The natural gas is fed through to the Morecambe Bay North Terminal via the North Morecambe DDPA Platform, where it is comingled with HRL s gas. Calder, Darwen and Crossens Operator: HRL Co venturer: ConocoPhillips (100%) Calder which produces sour gas, has been developed with an unmanned platform and three development wells. It feeds to a producing platform and then through a pipeline to the Rivers Terminal at Barrow in Furness, England, which provides compression, hydrogen sulfide removal and metering. Options for developing the additional sour gas fields of Darwen and Crossens feeding into the Rivers Terminal will be considered once the Calder Field begins to decline.
6 OTHER Clair Operator: BP (28.6%) Co venturers: Shell (28.0%), ConocoPhillips (24.0%), Chevron (19.4%) The Clair Field extends over 54,300 acres across five blocks in the West of Shetland Area. Government approval was granted in 2011 for Clair Ridge which is the second phase of the Clair development. It will comprise a drilling and processing platform with 36 slots, bridge linked to a quarters and utilities platform. Production startup for Clair Ridge is scheduled for Alba, MacCulloch and Nicol ConocoPhillips entered into agreements in December 2011 to sell its interests in the Alba, MacCulloch and Nicol fields to Endeavour Energy U.K. Limited. These sales are expected to be completed in Statfjord ConocoPhillips entered into an agreement in January 2012 to sell its interests in Statfjord to Centrica plc. Statfjord is located across both the Norwegian and U.K. sectors of the North Sea. This sale is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2012.

8 THE POSITION Based at Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal and reporting directly to the Terminal Manager, the Environment, Health and Safety Engineer s primary purpose is to provide environmental technical resource and guidance to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and that all operations/activities are conducted safely and with minimal impact on the environment. Additionally this role would provide support to the HSE group on day to day HSE activities, leveraging their Environmental focus. The principal accountabilities are; Act as principle site interface with relevant authorities / external bodies on ongoing environmental performance Provide environmental engineering support to the on going operations at Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal Provide Project engineering/management for minor Capex and Opex environmental projects Identify key environmental compliance and continuous improvement projects Enhance environmental performance at the terminal in pursuit of IPPC permit and ConocoPhillips goals Coordinate and conduct engineering studies to develop continuous improvement plans for Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal emissions Partner with and support the HSE Advisor on a broad range day to day HSE activities which may include: o Safety coaching o Emergency planning including participation as external liaison o Security o HSE regulatory interface Key success factors of the position will include: Demonstrating personal commitment to safety by actively supporting the safety initiatives and behaviours laid down in the Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal SPIRIT Plan Providing support specific to the reduction of emissions from the on going operation. This will include the management of data collection for external agencies, engineering changes (through the Management of Change (MOC) process) and implementation of management systems to reduce emissions Providing project engineering for OPEX and CAPEX environmental projects through liaising with the site engineer and engineering contractor for the development of optimal solutions, which add value to the business through enhanced environmental performance Ensuring continued compliance with relevant environmental legislation including requirements of ISO Environmental reporting to Environment Agency and monitoring the terminals compliance to Company, industry guidelines and best practice Providing key interface with Environmental agency, local authorities and external bodies. Promoting environmental awareness to Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal personnel Performing the role of Radiological Protection Supervisor (RPS)
9 Participating in auditing of other ConocoPhillips assets as required Undertake the requirements of Contract Manager for site services such as waste management, NORM processing and site/vessel cleaning Control of waste disposal as per duty of care responsibilities Partnering with the HSE Advisor on broader HSE programs and activities Participating in the Emergency planning process and acting as an external liaison as necessary Contributing as part of the Terminal Leadership Team The role is based permanently at the terminal, with occasional visits to Aberdeen as required. THE CANDIDATE Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline would be preferable but not essential (subject to experience level in this circumstance).. Candidates will hold a minimum of five years experience in a similar role either in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Nuclear industry sectors. It is expected that candidate s will be able to demonstrate a strong process awareness, specifically within environmental management and are capable of identifying opportunities for improvement in environmental performance through either engineering or business solutions. Candidates will have good networking and communication skills allied with business and commercial awareness. In addition, the individual shall actively promote the appropriate culture in terms of core values and make alliances and have the ability to work well within a team. The successful candidate will be required to be capable of successfully interfacing with key groups both internal and external to the ConocoPhillips organisation, such as HSEQ, engineering, key contractors, government bodies, local community groups and industry forums.
