At more than 2,100 square inches, the s windshield achieves maximum visibility with a one-piece design and A-pillars that are 13% narrower than previous designs. A lower dash brow and sloped hood result in improved line-of-sight. Side windows and large exterior mirrors complement overall visibility to help make jobsites and highway travel safer. The windshield is bonded in place for a watertight, durable seal. Should the windshield need to be replaced, two locators found in the cowl and encapsulation seal allow for quick and easy replacement in the fi eld or in the shop. Door construction features a double wall, stamped design that reduces weight without sacrifi cing durability. Doors feature a triple-sealing system that outperforms competitive single and double seal designs for a more secure, longer-lasting closure. A concealed hinge system is specially designed to withstand jobsite rigors and harsh duty cycles. In addition to being one of the quietest in the industry, the spacious 2.1-meter wide cab provides plenty of belly room and space between the seats. LED lighting is used throughout and switches are backlit for enhanced nighttime visibility. Electric-over-air controls brings unprecedented levels of reliability, durability and versatility to the when powering auxiliary components and work bodies. It eliminates dash air toggle switches so air stays in the system and there are no unexpected surprises when going to tilt a dump body or power a PTO. Electric-over-air also allows the use of interlocks for enhanced safety and operation, such as requiring the parking brake be activated before the PTO can be operated.
