Its advanced design features have included the perfrmance f its innvative All-Mde 4WD system, its rigid MnFrame cnstructin and an extensive list f luxury cnveniences and amenities with the added cmfrt f ne f the industry s leading custmer service and supprt prgrams, The Ttal Ownership Experience. Fr 2003, QX4 receives key packaging enhancements, including the additin f previus Premium Package features as standard equipment. This includes 17-inch wheels and tires, a leather/genuine wd steering wheel, driver s seat memry and steering wheel munted audi cntrl switches. One new exterir clr is ffered fr the new mdel year. The QX4 cntinues t ffer the heart f a rugged, authentic ffrader with the sul f a true luxury vehicle, said Mark McNabb, vice president and general manager, Infiniti Divisin. Fr 2003, there are mre standard luxury features, enhancing the value f an already great luxury SUV package. Crisp Exterir, Elegant Interir Design QX4 s elegant styling has been enhanced fr the 2003 mdel year with available chrme-finished aluminum-ally wheels and ne new exterir clr Diamnd Graphite. QX4 cmes standard with a distinctive headlight design featuring High Intensity Discharge (HID) xenn headlights with aut n/ff feature, integrated fg lights and turn signals. Other exterir features include 17-inch aluminum-ally wheels, a full-size spare tire with matching ally wheel, dual bdy-clr pwer remtecntrlled heated utside mirrrs, black privacy glass, variable intermittent rear liftgate glass wiper, integrated fender flares, splash guards and step rails with slipresistant inserts. Inside, the QX4 features a 6-speaker 150-watt Bse audi system with AM/FM/cassette, 6-disc in-dash CD player, Radi Data System (RDS) and steering wheel-munted audi cntrls. A Pwerful 240-hp V6, an Advanced 4WD System, and Intelligent Cruise Cntrl QX4 s technlgically advanced 3.5-liter DOHC V6 prduces 240 hrsepwer at 6,000 rpm and 265 lb-ft f trque at 3,200 rpm. This engine is part f the same engine family that was named ne f the Ten Best Engines in the wrld eight cnsecutive years by Ward s Aut Wrld magazine. Amng the advanced systems fund in this engine are cntinuus valve timing cntrl, a variable intake system, a lightweight pistn design, an aluminum-ally blck, electrnic thrttle cntrl system, 100,000-mile service interval platinumtipped spark plugs and extensive nise, vibratin and harshness cuntermeasures. The All-Mde 4WD system prvides a superir driving experience n and ff the pavement, utilizing all-wheel drive technlgy derived frm Nissan s wrld-class Skyline GT-R sprts cupe (rather than traditinal truck-based systems). All-Mde 4WD was designed t instantly distribute trque t the frnt wheels (up t 50 percent can g t the frnt wheels n demand) resulting in ptimal tractin with imprved fuel ecnmy and

The independent frnt strut design prvides exceptinal driving feel, enhanced stability, a tight turning radius and a lng strke fr exceptinal suspensin travel, which helps each wheel maintain cntact with the grund ver uneven terrain. The 5-link cil-spring rear suspensin prvides lng suspensin travel, enhanced stability and cntrl f bdy lean, alng with reduced nise and vibratin. Stabilizer bars are featured frnt and rear fr imprved handling, while vehiclespeed-sensitive rack-and-pinin steering prvides precise cntrl and driver feedback. Braking is prvided by pwer-assisted frnt vented disc brakes and rear drum brakes wrking in cnjunctin with a lad-sensing brake valve t determine hw much weight is inside the vehicle. A special G-sensr, which measures the deceleratin rate f the vehicle, interacts with the ABS cntrl unit t help ensure that ABS des nt interfere with braking during lw-speed, extreme angle ffrad maneuvers. Optinally available is Infiniti s advanced Intelligent Cruise Cntrl, a system shared with the Q45 flagship sedan. The system adjusts the vehicle s speed and distance t traffic in frnt f the car when the cruise cntrl is perated and reacts t traffic speed changes far faster that a driver can, increasing the safety margin fr the QX4 driver and passengers. This system cmbines laser sensrs, thrttle and brake actuatrs, keeping a cnstant distance between the QX4 and cars ahead.
