2 906D With the Dseries we have created a new generatin f the unique lader/excavatrs, machines that can nly be cmpared with specialized laders and mbile excavatrs. Hydrema signifies a number f special characteristics, tp quality thrughut and finish dwn t the smallest detail. The characteristics make these machines the mst efficient and flexible fr custmers demanding cmfrt and prductivity. Centre pivt and radhlding qualities The key t the excellent n and ff rad perfrmance f the 906D/ lies in the articulated pivt steer chassis. The centre pivt and hydraulic stabilisers keep the machine stable and safe by autmatically transferring the weight where it is needed. The chassis ensures that all wheels cnstantly track t reduce grund cntact and the centrally placed pivt increases maneuvrability with a lw turning radius and better psitining characteristics. The additin f a new cruise cntrl makes fr mre cmfrtable rad usage. Lader The Hydrema 906D and are full articulated lading shvels. Cnstructed frm high tensile steel and with a high trque engine and autmatic flexible transmissin the D series are utstanding laders. Equipped with aut self levelling, Zkinematics and a return t dig functin the shvel is easy t fill and ffers exceptinal break ut frce. The lad stabilizer and upgraded ESD serv cntrl system ensures smth efficient peratin f the shvel while the duble cmmand feature gives the peratr all the flexibility needed fr an efficient day's wrk. The D series laders have the same perfrmance, breakut frce and lifting capacity as a typical 1.3 m³ lader but with the benefit f an additinal rear munted excavatr. Excavatr The bm and dipper are cnstructed as clsed prfiles in high tensile steel that prvides maximum strength and stiffness. Heavyduty sleeve bearings at all the jints featuring Hydrema s wellknwn duble sealing system t ensure lng life and lw perating csts. The curved design enables easy lading ver the side f a truck, and gives greater flexibility when wrking clse t the machine. The excavatr can als be fitted with a telescpic arm, which increases the reach and excavating depth by 1.2 m. This als means lnger wrking intervals frm the same psitin. The excavatr s mde cntrl makes it pssible fr the peratr t adapt the speed f the hydraulic t the task in questin. E.g. very lw speed ensures maximum safety at lifting tasks. Engine The machines are equipped with a Perkins stage 3a cmmn rail engine. This means a higher peak perfrmance, but als higher pwer at lwer rpm which reduces nise levels and keeps fuel cnsumptin dwn. The nise levels are very imprtant, especially when wrking in built up areas and the fcus n fuel saving is always a pririty when cnsidering the prductivity and ecnmy f buying a new machine.

3 Optimum peratr cmfrt The D series is fitted with a newly designed spacius cab which imprves visibility and cmfrt. The peratr nw has an electrical steering clumn which autmatically tilts when the peratr ges frm a driving t a digging psitin and back again. The sund level in the cab has been significantly reduced t nly 69 db(a) which is the lwest t be fund n any lader/excavatr. After studying the wrking situatin and psture f the peratr we have prduced ur mst mdern cab t date. All the instrumentatin is ergnmically placed, the seat and armrests are fully adjustable and the cab is lined with a new sft tuch interir. Visibility has been imprved by increasing the glazed area and a new a/c system is incrprated as standard with 10 air nzzles placed thrughut the cab. Overall vibratin has been reduced by munting liquid filled engine suspensin pints and a cab suspensin system. The cab is als fitted with autmatic entry and exit lighting fr safer night time peratin. User friendly cmputer The Hydrema 906D/ have a Windws based instrument display which prvides the peratr with a wealth f infrmatin via a 6.4 flatscreen PC mnitr. The cmputer has data cllectin, rental menu and diagnstic tls installed. The menu is very userfriendly, even fr inexperienced peratrs and it is pssible t update the sftware and dwnlad data frm the machine via a USB scket. New jysticks The all new armrests with integrated jysticks have fur prprtinal functins builtin which make peratin f tls abslutely precise and unique. This is especially useful when using hydraulic attachments such as a»rttilt«where precise cntrl is f the utmst imprtance t prductivity. The armrests are als multiadjustable s they can be adapted t suit the individual peratr. 906D 280 perating area The mdel with hydraulic sideshift, which prvides an perating area f 280. This gives a large wrking radius and gd pssibilities t slve any excavating task n matter the space cnditins perating area The mdel with centre munted excavatr with an perating area f 200. With sideangling the perating area is increased t 250. Dynamic design A lt f time and effrt has gne int the design f the 906D/ t keep them ahead f the market in terms f quality and functin. Industrial designers have been emplyed t attend t every detail frm the eight wrking lights t the built in tl bxes and sft tuch interir. The peratr has a superb wrking envirnment with easy t understand cntrls, heated seating, electrical adjustable side mirrrs and the best perfrmance available n the market.
