2 1 Why do you need a wind deflector in your open topped sports car?? Travelling at anything over 30 mph causes a slipstream over the car which after passing over the windscreen, returns and hits you in the back of the head & your neck! This can ruin your hairstyle, buffet your eardrums resulting in a headache on a long journey or give you a stiff neck. or all of these! A Windstop (or wind deflector) will drastically reduce all of these effects, to the point where open top motoring becomes a pleasure again. Our Wind deflectors are made from leather covered tubular steel (not PVC covered) and has a very fine, robust mesh suspended across the inside of the frame. This mesh provides a draught proof barrier behind the occupants but still allows the driver to see the view behind, using the rear view mirror. Fitting our Wind deflector is pretty easy too no holes need to be drilled our brackets fit using holes already in the bodywork. Once fitted, our Windstop is easy to remove from the brackets so that it can be stored either in the boot or in your garage. Hoods can be raised and lowered with our Wind deflector in place. The Wind deflector is secured to the bracket system by hand wheels for easy removal. Full pictorial fitting instructions are included with each kit. 28 SPECIAL SEAT KITS These vertically fluted seat covers were originally designed to offer a more traditional replacement for the Deck Chair cloth (which has been unavailable for a number of years) seats used on the Mk1V MGB ( ). The range was extended to include the Humpy base seats of the era. We offer matching rear seat (For GT models) and headrest covers as well as a complete headrest assembly, if required. The reclining seat frames remained essentially unchanged throughout this period, so the customer may choose either the flat or humpy style front base. All covers are offered in Leather or Vinyl.
