2 01/01/2011 SOME MORE QUESTIONS ASKED ABOUT OUR MARLIN SPORTSTER Must I buy all the parts to build my Sportster at the outset? No, it is not necessary to buy all the parts at one time but most initial orders include most of the major components to build to the rolling chassis stage as listed in the modules below. Is there any weather equipment? Yes, there is a very easy to erect roof with side panels. The roof is water tight and stores away behind the seats, taking up very little space, space when not in use. Can I race my Sportster? Yes, Marlin successfully raced in the 750 series club championship at various race courses throughout England and Wales. The Sportster has also been extremely successful in endurance events and hill climbing. The seven type cars I ve tried are too small, what s the space like in a Sportster? There is ample width and length in the cockpit for most people up to 6 6 / 16 stone space will seem limited. How easy is the manual to follow? Marlin has produced a CD manual with sets of pictures detailing the various stages of the build along with a paper specification manual.
