All safety precautios apply. 1. At the jobsite, coat all sealig surfaces of the eclosure with appropriate lubricat for the service. 2. Vet valves (if applicable) should be fully opeed before istallatio. To check, had tighte to closed positio, the back-off two (2) full turs. 3. Place oe-half of the eclosure over the leakig compoet. Lie up the leak with the vet valve ad vet through the valve, if applicable. 4. Istall studs, with uts started o oe ed, by placig them through the stud holes of the eclosure half o the pipe. 5. Place the other half of the eclosure o the lie. Match the bolts with the bolt holes. 6. Screw the uts oto the eds of the exposed studs ad had tighte. Both halves of the eclosure should be draw together evely. 7. Usig properly sized wreches, begi tighteig the studs startig at the ceter ad workig your way towards the eds. 8. Tighte opposig studs usig a alteratig patter. Note: Torquig is recommeded for studs 1 1 / 4 "ad greater. Torque to 50% of yield. 9. If applicable, slowly close the vet valves by tighteig to the hadtight positio, the tur it 1 /4 of a tur more by wrech. Leave oe vet ope (if applicable) to displace air, the close this fial vet.
