1 Plastic Repair Bardahl Plastic Repair is a 2-component repair product that can be used in all car workshops. Arranged there where plastic and metal must be repaired. Bardahl Plastic Repair has been developed for use at many materials; steel, aluminium, concrete, wood and glass. Using Bardahl Plastic Repair makes it easy to: repair, fill and to seal. Characteristics This product hardens well at room temperature. Is odourless. The hard and flexible have a black colour. Types of Plastic repair: Hard Flexible Transparent Metal Application The various Plastic Repairs have a very wide scope. It is not possible to determine the applications of the several plastic repairs specifically. Bardahl Plastic Repair can be applied to include the repair of: Headlights / taillights repair Leaky water radiator Aborted fans Released rear mirror Disconnected / broken arches and panels Bumper repairs Released rubbing strips Repair side skirts Corrosion repairs etc. Use of the film and reinforcement mat To repair loosen components you can use the film and reïnforcement mat. The reïnforcement mat is used for gaps bigger than 4mm. On the rear side you hold the reïnforcement mat against the gap. With the plastic repair gun you spray the plastic repair into the gap. The film is placed in the plastic repair, so the result at the end is a smooth surface, which needs to be polished upto a minimum. When the product is hardened, you can remove the film and reinforcement mat.

2 Plastic Repair Foam A particular version of the Plastic Repair is the Foam. This product is usable in all (car) workshops, there where hollow spaces must filled up or where sound has to be absorbed. Think among things as box griders and doorjambs Bardahl offers a number of important advantages in comparison to for example PUR (also a foam base product). First of all of plastic Repair Foam expands completely controlled. PUR on the other hand expands for a long time therefore exercises force on parts or components where this should not happen. A another important advantage of Bardahl plastic Repair Foam is the fast dry time, with as directly positive consequence that the processing time is very fast.
