Quickly responding to this trend, YAMADA started its innovative development on oilless bearings which resulted in an assortment of economical self-lubricating bearings. Oil containing, cast iron bearings (YAMADA300) became available for the first time in the world, replacing conventional solid bronze bearings which require frequent oil lubrication. Through continued research and development, this early innovation was followed by the YAMADA500 series which are a combination of a base metal and solid lubricants. YAMADA 500 are low widely used in various industrial fields as self-lubricating bearings. YAMADA Bearings Offer Tremendous Advantages Elimination of oiling devices, machining of oil holes and oil grooves Cost required for oiling devices, including installation and labor costs for machining oil holes and oil grooves or for associated piping installation, can be eliminated, enabling considerable cost reductions.
