3 Important order information M1.2 Important order information For all geared motors The following order information is required in addition to the mounting position in order to eactly define the configuration of the drive. Position of power plug connector Position of cable entry for power plug connector Position and direction of the encoder plug connector Position of the motor terminal bo Position of the cable entry on the terminal bo In bevel gears: Position of the output shaft In shaft mounted bevel gear units with a shrink disk: Connection end with or without flange. Terminal bo Position of the motor terminal bo and the cable entry Possible positions of the terminal bo are, 9, 18 or 27 as viewed onto the fan guard = -side ( Fig. 16). Furthermore, the position of the cable entry can be selected. The possibilities are "X" (= normal position), "1", "2" or "" ( Fig. 16). 006XX Fig. 16: Position of the terminal bo and the cable entry Unless other information is given regarding the terminal bo, the type with "X" cable entry will be supplied. We recommend selecting cable entry "2" with mounting position M. Cable entry "2" is not possible with the CT71..MG motor with terminal bo position 9. GSE
4 M1 Important order information Plug connector Position of power plug connector The position of the power plug connector can be, 9, 18 or 27 with view onto the -side. If CM motors are combined with PSF/PS/PSE planetary gear units, only position 27 is possible Position of cable entry You can also specify the position of the cable entry. Possible are "X", "1", "2" or "." Only positions "1" and "" of the cable entry are possible with DS56M../SM.. and DS56L../ SM... motors. ll four positions are available with the DS56H motor and all DS56/../ SM.. brake motors. Please note that the designations for the positions for the plug connector used for the DFS56 motor have changed compared to the 1999 servomotor catalog. Position of cable entries with CM..S.5. X 1 2 Position of cable entries with CM..S.6. X 1 2 Standard type Without any special information about the power plug connector, the design with 27 position with cable entry "" and radial encoder plug connector (CM..S.5.) is delivered. 56 GSE2002

31 Lubricants M1.10 Lubricants General information Lubricant table Key to the lubricant table Unless a special arrangement is made, SEW supplies the drives with a lubricant fill specifically for the gear unit and mounting position. The decisive factor is the mounting position (M1..., Sec. "Mounting Positions and Important Order Information") specified when ordering the drive. You must adapt the lubricant fill to any subsequent changes made to the mounting position ( Lubricant fill quantities). The lubricant table for SEW drives on the following page shows the permitted lubricants for SEW gear units. Please note the following key to the lubricant table. bbreviations used, meaning of shading and notes: CLP = Mineral oil CLP PG = Polyglycol (W gear units, conforms to USD-H1) CLP HC = Synthetic hydrocarbons E = Ester oil (water pollution danger category WGK 1) HCE = Synthetic hydrocarbons + ester oil (USD - H1 certification) HLP = Hydraulic oil = Synthetic lubricant (= synthetic-based anti-friction bearing grease) = Mineral lubricant (= mineral-based anti-friction bearing grease) 1) Helical-worm gear units with PG oil: Please contact SEW 2) Special lubricant for Spiroplan gear units only ) Recommendation: Select SEW f 1.2 4) Note critical starting behavior at low temperatures! 5) Low-viscosity grease 6) mbient temperature Lubricant for the foodstuffs industry Oil iodegradable oil (lubricant for use in agriculture, forestry and water resources) GSE2002 8
32 M1 Lubricants nti-friction bearing greases The anti-friction bearings in SEW gear units and motors are given a factory-fill with the greases listed below. Motor options Special versions EN 5047 The motor dimensions may differ as a result of motor options. Please refer to the dimension drawings of the motor options. The dimensions of the terminal bo on special versions such as KS or CS may differ from the standard dimensions. European standard EN 5047 has been in force since ugust 1, This standard defines the dimension designations for three-phase C motors of sizes 56 to 15M and flange sizes 65 to 740. The new dimension designations used in EN 5047 are given in brackets alongside the dimensions in question used in the dimension tables of the dimensions sheets. In geared motors, this applies to the following dimensions: Dimension Old designation To pren 5047 Diameter G C Distance from center line to outer contour of terminal bo G1 D Distance from flange surface to end of machine KM L 92 GSE2002
