We remain committed to make this a successful and enjoyable experience for all concerned. If any questions arise in the process of installation, please feel free to call BTP for assistance. The success of this installation will be determined by a variety of factors. These instructions should be adhered to unless reasonable cause for deviation exists. The vehicle must be in excellent condition and proper tune prior to starting the installation. Care and attention to detail by the installer are of extreme importance. The daily operator of the vehicle must become familiar with, and observe all operational guidelines. Clean and inspect all components of this assembly, as BTP accepts no responsibility for cleanliness. All components will be cleaned prior to shipment, however, the cleanliness standards of the installer override all others. BTP also does not guarantee the fit of any other manufacturers parts when used in conjunction with our systems. All components should be inventoried with respect to the packing lists. Shortages will not be honored in excess of twenty days after the shipping date. All left or right directional references will be from the driver viewpoint. Send an to info@belltuning.com. These instructions and the operational requirements for this system must be reviewed with the owner-driver prior to delivery of the vehicle to the end user. Please read the statement of warranty at the end of these instructions prior to starting the installation. THE INSTALLER SHOULD PASS THESE INSTRUCTIONS ON TO THE OWNER-DRIVER Tool and Equipment Requirements The following tools and equipment will be required to conveniently accomplish this install: General metric open/box wrenches Floor jack General SAE open/box wrenches Jack stands x 4 Assorted slot and phillips screw drivers General metric socket set Factory shop manual or equivalent is recommended Clean rags Hand drill and assorted bits Preliminary A clean engine is pleasant to work on. If needed, wash both top side and bottom very thoroughly. The high pressure car wash does a good job. Wearing latex gloves can help keep the installer as clean as a nice engine. Position the car on jack stands, high enough to work conveniently beneath the car. Copyright BEGi

3 Major Items to Remove Save the fasteners, as many will be re-used. The bracket with the ground strap and harness on the passenger / front side of the cam cover. Remove the battery and the plastic moldings that hold it in place. Refer to picture # 1. Picture # 1 Installation of Parts The battery will get relocated to the trunk on the driver's side. Pull back the left side of the carpet to expose the sheet metal. The trunk release cable runs through this area. Locate the cable and move the cable as needed so that the cable does not get pinched by the new battery support. It will be easiest to route it thru the blocks on the bottom of the battery support. Picture # 2 Picture # 3 Refer to picture # 1 to locate the three divots marked. Drill two 5/16" holes in these locations. Clean up any loose shavings. Locate the larger hole and drill 3/4" hole here. Take a 3" piece of vacuum hose and make a slit down one side with a razor blade. Push the piece of vacuum line on the edge of the larger hole. Refer to picture # 3 & 4. Picture # 4 Copyright BEGi

4 Outside of the car, secure the stock tray to the new battery tray. Refer to picture # 5. Use the three 1/4-20 flat head screws provided. The flat heat part of the screw will install from the bottom of the BTP Battery mount. The 1/4-20 nylon lock nuts and 1/4 SAE washers will install from the top. Refer to picture # 5, 6 & 7. Picture # 5 Picture # 6 Picture # 7 Place the battery tray in the trunk. Like up the upper left hand mounting tab with the hole just drilled. You will notice that the slotted part of the mounting tray is resting on a stock fastener. Loosen the bolt on the car and slide the battery mounting tray tab underneath it. Re-align the upper left hand mounting tab. Tighten the screw on the slotted portion of the mounting tray. Use the 6 mm x 20 mm hex bolt, nuts and 1/4 SAE washer to secure it to the frame of the car. Also secure the upper right hand side tab. Refer to picture # 8 & 9. Copyright BEGi

5 Picture # 8 Picture # 9 Set the battery onto the tray in the car. Use the stock rod and screws to secure the battery to the trays. Refer to picture # 7 & 10. The battery ground cable will bolt up to the frame on the rear cross member. Use a 6mm x 16 hex bolt and 1/4 SAE washer to secure it to the cross member. This is located under the rear sway bar mount on the driver side. Refer to picture # 11 & 12. After attaching the eyelet of the cable, route the cable up the side of the cross member and through the 3/4" hole drilled previously and protected with the vacuum hose. Refer to picture # 15. Secure the wire with tie wraps if needed. Picture # 10 Picture # 11 Picture # 12 Cut the ground cable to desired length. Strip the end and install the battery terminal. Do not crimp the wire, use the bolt on the terminal to secure it. Let the cable hang loose for now. Do not attach it to the battery. The new power cable for the battery will run on the driver side of the car with the fuel lines and brake lines. Connect the eye of the battery cable to the stock power terminal. Reuse the stock fasteners to secure. Refer to picture # 13. Copyright BEGi

6 Picture # 13 Cover the stock terminal and new power wire with the insulator box. The fasteners to close the box are also provided. Use cable ties to secure the wire out of harms way. Run the new power cable down the driver side of the engine bay to the brake lines. Follow one of the brake lines back to the ground cable. Use zip ties to secure as needed. Refer to picture # 14. Picture # 14 Run the new power cable up through the ¾" hole previously cut in the frame. Both battery cables will run thru the same hole. We suggest you label the cables appropriately to avoid confusion. Cut the power cable to length. Strip the end of the cable and install the battery terminal. Let the wire set to the side for now. Refer to picture # 15. Picture # 15 Attach the new ground wire to the negative terminal on the battery. Attach the new power wire to the positive terminal on the battery. Fasten securely. Turn the key on and verify the car gets power. Copyright BEGi

7 Testing Procedures Start the engine and check for loose cables. Correct as required. Review the instructions and installation for any details overlooked and correct as required. General Rules of Operation It is the responsibility of the installer to review these general rules of operation with the owner/driver. Check the battery mount periodically. Tighten fasteners if needed. Warranty Information All items made by BTP are warranted for workmanship and function for one year from the date of receipt. All other items are subject to manufacturer s warranty. If problems arise from using a BTP part in a manner other than intended, or a part is installed incorrectly, BTP reserves the right to refuse warranty coverage for damages. BTP will not warranty any kits, parts or items purchased thru an online auction that is not purchased from an authorized dealer. The customer must be able to provide proof of purchase for any warranty repairs. BTP reserves the right to inspect any item before any warranty will be granted. BTP will not reimburse for any labor charges on warranty items that occur without prior, written consent. BTP extends no warranty nor accepts liability to any original, stock, or replacement components on the vehicle. BTP does not pay any towing expenses. Warranty may transfer. BTP must be notified within twenty days of sale to continue warranty coverage. Shipping / freight charges are the responsibility of the end user for all warranty consideration. Terms of Sale All shortages from the parts list must be reported to BTP within 20 days of receipt. BTP does not pay any towing expenses. All returned items are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. BTP accepts no liability for death or injury to any person or persons under any circumstance. The re-seller assumes all responsibility for the end user s knowledge of this warranty. BTP does not guarantee that turbo kits will pass smog tests. For California residents, some BTP kits have been provided a C.A.R.B. Executive Order Number. However, BTP does not guarantee that the end user s car will pass. Acceptance, re-sell, or use of any BTP part constitutes full agreement by the re-seller/end user, that the terms of sale and warranty are fully understood and accepted in full. Copyright BEGi
