6 Section I Hose Assembly Equipment Options This package contains three options for hose shop equipment. The three options are suggested, not mandatory. Any of the items can be mixed and matched to suit specific needs. Option 1 - Basic Hose Shop This option will allow the crimping of medium and high pressure teflon hose assemblies (AE240-3 through and AE246-4 through -12). Occasional assemblies of rubber or Teflon reusable hoses would be done by hand.* There is no capability for 400 series integral silicone, or 500 series polyester chafe guard skiving, other than by hand. *The S1380 assembly machine could be added for higher production of reusable assemblies (-3 through -12). 8 Section I Hose Assembly Equipment Options Option 2 - Intermediate Hose Shop This option adds machine assembly capability for rubber and teflon reusable hoses through -32 and upgrades the proof test stand to one of production capacity. Equipment is included for skiving 400-series integral silicone, and 500-series polyester hoses. The firesleeve band clamp installation tool is upgraded to the air operated model. None of these options provide tooling for the assembly of AE313-16, convoluted, or fabric-braided hoses (e.g. Kevlar). Tooling for these styles would be based upon individual requirements.
