1 All the 4 ways valves are designed in a way that it is possible to have the fluid flow and outlet from one single heating body. These valves must be installed on the bottom connection. The purpose of the 4 ways valves for single pipe systems is: to connect the heating body to the pipe of the single pipe ring which can be copper, plastic or multi-layer PEX-AL-PEX pipe to allow the room temperature regulation ranging the inlet flow on the heating body; to intercept the flow so to allow maintenance operation on the heating body without compromising the working of other heating element The flow arriving to the valve is divided into two parts: one enters the heating element and the other through the by-pass goes to the next heating element. The advantage is that the flow out coming from the heating body with a low temperature gets mixed with the flow passing through the by-pass with higher temperature, this way the flow will carry on to the next heating element with a higher thermal power. 5 ISTRUZIONI OPERATIVE M 87 valve has a fixed by-pass, in max open position 50% of the ring flow is 50% enters the heating element. M 88 valve in max open position does not have a by-pass and 100% of the ring flow enters the heating element (see picture) The by- pass opens progressively proportionally to the closing of the obturator. The M 88 valve when closed has a by-pass 100% to the ring flow, no liquid enters the heating element. The vertical manual 4 ways valves can be single pipe with a bypass of 50% of the flow or double pipe with 100% of the ring flow. The valves must be connected to the system according to the arrows placed on the body. This way the valves can heat up an heating body with 7-8 elements. If the flow direction is not according to the flow or the heating body has more than 8 elements a filler M 525 must be installed on the valves M 81 and M. The filler must be cut in a way that the other end is at 10cm from the heating body. If the flow is not observed it is necessary to turn the septum of the valves M 85 and M 86 so to re-adjust the correct flow direction. Using the septum as per picture the flow must enter the connection as shown in the picture. If during the installation the flow direction is not observed use the septum as illustrated in the picture. NOTE: we recommend to remove the pressure after the installation test has been made. A pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the valve higher than 1 bar could cause the displacement of the O-ring Pagina 5 di 6
