Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure, then wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work. 2. djust the steering column to the full tilt up position and to the full telescopic in position. djust the seat-back recline to a middle position door passenger's seat: arefully insert the tip of a small screwdriver () through the hole in the back of the front seat belt lower anchor cover (), and into the hole in the front seat belt lower anchor (). Disconnect the side airbag connector (), the seat belt buckle switch connector (), and the seat belt buckle tensioner connector (). -2. Driver's seat: Disconnect the seat heater/seat position sensor connector or the seat position sensor connector (D). -3. 9 E F F 10. With the help of an assistant, carefully remove the front seat through the front door opening. 11. Install the front seat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Push the clips and the hooks into place securely. pply medium strength liquid thread lock to the seat mounting bolts before reinstallation. Tighten the bolts by hand first, then tighten them to specified torque. Tighten the seat mounting bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown. Slide the seat all the way back and tighten and, then slide it forward and tighten and. Make sure each connector is plugged in properly. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure. heck for any DTs that may have been set during repairs, and clear them. Driver's seat 9/11
