Christian Bjørn has created several original products in a beautiful, clean-cut, Scandinavian style, several of them winning some of the world s most highly acclaimed design awards, such as the Red Dot Award, IF Industrial Design Award and Design Plus. 5

7 Bjørn Parcel SA MAILBOXES THAT CAST LIGHT IN DARKNESS Working with the designer Christian Bjørn, Allux has created a new range of mailboxes with an integrated LED light that switches on by means of a motion sensor. Mailboxes are typically located in dark areas, away from the light of the house, so a light is a big help when collecting parcels and post after dark. With online shopping on the increase, customers are demanding larger mailboxes, which can hold much more than just letters. Yet they still want a mailbox that looks great. The top is slightly angled for a lightness of design. The slope causes rainwater to run off it and prevents rubbish and other items from being placed on top of the mailbox.
