2 IMPORTANT NOTES 1 This Auction takes place on behalf of John Pettitt due to his retirement after over 45 years spent in beef and mixed cattle farming in Suffolk. This auction includes the entire range of farming equipment at Home Farm, as well as included lots from neighbours. 2 Export: If any lots are to be exported outside the EU, VAT will be charged and retained by the auctioneer until a Customs Clearance note is secured. The VAT will then be refunded. If confirmation of export is not secured within 8 weeks, the VAT will be paid to the vendor and declared in the normal way. If lots are to be exported within the EU proof of VAT registration number and confirmation of port for export will be required otherwise VAT will be charged. 3 Removal of Lots: All lots must be collected before Saturday 20 th May For those buyers who need assistance with loading, where suitable, a telehandler with driver will be available on the day of the sale until 6pm and on the following day between 8am and 5pm, but thereafter please contact John Pettitt on or Jonathan Pettitt on beforehand to arrange access to the site and suitable loading times. Loading of items after the 20 th May 2017 will be the purchaser s responsibility. 3 Location Plan To Newmarket Sale Site To Stowmarket Directions: The Sale Site is located on the eastern side of Bury St Edmunds and can only be accessed off the road leading from Bury St Edmunds to Thurston. There is NO access to or from the A14 Travelling East from Bury St Edmunds on the A14 towards Ipswich take Junction 45 signposted to Thurston. At the junction turn right towards Thurston and follow the road until you reach the crossroads signposted left to Thurston and the Railway Station, where you will see a Sale Sign directing all sale traffic onto the Rougham Estate private driveway leading to the Auction Site. Travelling West from Stowmarket on the A14 towards Bury St Edmunds take Junction 45 signposted to Thurston and Rougham. Pass under the A14 following the signposts to Thurston. At the junction turn right towards Thurston and follow the road until you reach the crossroads signposted left to Thurston and the Railway Station, where you will see a Sale Sign directing all sale traffic onto the Rougham Estate private driveway leading to the Auction Site.
