It will aid in the selection of extruded aluminium sections and various other Aalco components, with which to build a range of body types from flatbed trucks to frame and panel van bodies. It is by no means mandatory and the innovative designer will no doubt find many other uses and variations of construction for the sections shown in the Aalco Road Transport Catalogue. Standard Bearers, Runners and Pillar Sections, specified by size Channels. GR-00 GR-7 GR-0 Galvanised Steel Plain Channel Sections, for Bearers and Runners. FB Flanged Channel Bearer, to accommodate Transverse Joints on Panelled Floors. FB Channel Bearer Sections with Skirts. FB Used front and rear, as appropriate. FB FL-BD8 Slip resistant, phenolic mesh faced plywood. Size 0 x 0 x 8 thick. 7 SR Side Rave/Mainside Sections for various types of SR bodywork, but more generally suited to Truck and SR Flatbed Bodies. SR SR Dedicated Rave Sections for Curtainsider Bodies will be SR considered for manufacture on request. SR SR8 SR SR6 SR6 SRP SRP SR SR Mainside (Side Rave) Sections for GRP Panelled Van Bodies and Frame and Panel Bodywork. May be used in panel over construction of van bodies, where Panel extends over Rave to bottom edge of Flange. Standard Angles For Bulkhead and Corner Pillars, also as Runner to Bearer Cleat Angles etc. Specified by size. 6 FP Interlocking/Half Lap Floor Plank of various profiles, FP generally laid longitudinally over Bearers, but may be laid FP transversely and secured directly to Runner Sections. 7 Dropside Trucks FIG. & DSTP00 Matching clip together Plank Sections of 00 and 00mm DSIP00 effective width, to make up into panels of any depth in DSIP00 00mm increments. DSBP00 Suitable for Dropsides and Tailboard. DC0 A dedicated Channel Section End Capping. NEW DS00 A one piece 00mm Dropside Panel. 0 Standard Floor/Bulkhead Joint Angle Section, typically Angle x x / 6, x x / 6 or x x / depending on loading requirements of body.
