4 HSA aluminium sprayboom Weld free patented construction from 24 to 33 m The high tech HSA boom of weld free patented construction folds in two stages and is laying on two Teflon coated and height adjustable front supports. The folding cylinders of the second boom parts are fully integrated in the boom structure for an optimal protection. Folded in when the boom is folded out, they ensure optimal strength for a rigid non swaying boom. Parallelogram Suspended via two nitrogen dampers. Boom crop clearance up to 2,65 m. Mechanical and automatic locking of the hydraulic cylinders during transport. Efficient protection of the nozzle holders within the bottom profile of the boom. This profile is designed for easy cleaning. With no sharp angles, no liquid and residues can be trapped. The anodised surface protects against corrosion and scratches. Pendulum system The efficient boom pendulum system is guided by two heavy duty axles and bearings. The boom adapts automatically to the slope and the hydraulic slope correction is only required in certain conditions. The locking of the pendulum system is standard and needed for folding in and for spraying with asymmetric folding (one side partly folded in). Independent slope correction The optional independent slope correction allows adjustment up or down of each boom independently on both left and right sides. A pilot valve always maintains a stable boom. 7 The HSS booms, a complete range from to 30 m The HSS booms are the result of Rau's project to design and develop a boom which meets all the parameters of a perfect sprayer boom Triangular structure against torsion, adjustable carriage stops, mechanical locking devices and closed cylinders in working position to suppress yaw. The perfect integration of stainless steel spraylines and the optimal hose routing are the guarantee of perfect spraying quality. Hinges with bearings and grease points contribute to a very long lifetime. Balancing system has two pivoting points The boom freely balances around the top pendulum and can also pivot around a central pivoting point. Therefore the boom automatically adapts to hilly conditions and remains stable during turning. Hydraulic slope correction is standard and has an automatic reset function with position indication on the controlbox. 10 Flowmaster FMA with Can-Bus technology Flowmaster is part of the new generation of Rau control boxes built to the european ISOBUS standard. The communication between the job computer on the machine and the terminal in the tractor cabin is standardised by the ISO norm The data is transmitted by the Can- Bus principle and only 1 single cable with the standard connector is used.
