Everyone should return this agreement package with deposit by Oct 1 st. Deposits will be returned if we are not able to offer you storage or a summer slip. This means your summer and winter storage agreement, and $650 in deposits must be in before Oct 1 st if you want to retain your summer slip. New yearround winter storage customers, requesting summer slips, will be assigned slips next. Last year s summer customers who do not winter store with us will be assigned to the remaining available slips. After December 15th, slips will be available on a first come first served basis. Brewer Stratford Marina reserves the right to refuse any application and reassign slips as necessary. Slips are subject to 6.35% sales tax and a 1.5% environmental compliance charge. Any scheduled payments missed may result in forfeiture of slip. Summer slip agreement is in effect from May 1 to October 30. Only boats that have arranged for winter storage may remain in a slip after November 4, If you are not winter storing with us you must leave the marina by Nov 4 th or have made arrangements with the marina office. CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION As part of our agreement, we must have a credit card on file. This card will be used for payments as outlined below. Service: We require payment at the time of service. Once service has been completed on your vessel, you will be sent an invoice for your records. If you would rather pay by cash or check, please indicate so below. You will be given two weeks to return your payment. If the payment has not been received within two weeks of the invoice date, we will charge the credit card below. Please automatically charge my credit card for all amounts due two weeks (14 days) from invoice date. Bill me, and I will arrange for payment. If not paid within two weeks (14 days) from the invoice date, I authorize SHM to charge the card below. NOTE: CREDIT CARD INFORMATION MUST BE PROVIDED BELOW IF SELECTING THIS OPTION. Slips and Storage: Slip and storage payments are due as outlined on the agreements. If payment is not received by the due date, we will charge the card below. Automatic payments are available for your summer slip. On Jan. 15 th, March 1st, and April 15 th we will charge your credit card for the appropriate payment. This will ensure no late fees on missed payments. For those who wish to mail in payments, please be aware that a 1.5% service charge will be added to all past due payments. I authorize Brewer Stratford Marina to charge my credit card on Jan 15, March 1, and April 15 for 1/3 of my summer slip charge. NOTE: Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this Authorization, customers wishing to remove their vessel from SHM property must make full payment of all amounts owed on account before the vessel will be released. 2 Winter Storage Agreement November 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018 WINTER AGREEMENTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED WHEN, THE AGREEMENTS ARE FILLED OUT IN FULL, SIGNED AND A $400 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITH PROOF OF CURRENT VESSEL INSURANCE ARE ATTACHED INSIDE AND OUTSIDE STORAGE INCLUDES HAULING, WASHING THE BOTTOM, BLOCKING, AND LAUNCHING ( ) INSIDE*- $12.50/sq ft x LOA x Beam or $ 105/ft x LOA, whichever is greater. The Yard will measure all inside storage boats to determine maximum beam and length overall, including bow pulpits and swim platforms. Please see additional requirements below* * The Yard will perform the following work and will proceed automatically. It will be billed as per attached price schedules. Wash exterior prior to going inside. Complete winterization, including oil and filter changes. Routine mechanical work during the winter months will include, (engine zincs, strainer cleaning, engine paint touch-up, water pump impellers, etc.). Spring commissioning complete; bottom paint, clean and wax exterior complete, and any teak work. Customers with work in addition to the above wanting inside storage will be given preference for inside storage. Any propane canisters must be removed and stored at the marina for additional costs. Due to insurance regulations, customers are not allowed to work on boats stored inside. Furler storage is $ If the mast is left standing, there is a potential danger of the boat being blown over while being stored on land. The yard will not be held responsible for any such occurrences. Owners are advised to check with their hull and liability insurance carrier regarding winter storage requirements in their policies. Yard is not responsible for masthead equipment, radar, and furler damage. The yard recognizes the delicacy of this equipment and will handle it with the greatest care possible. ( ) WET STORAGE - $ 50.00/ft x LOA, runs from Nov 1st to May 30 th. Price does not include electricity or ice protection. Both are billed separately. A $20.00 minimum monthly electric charge will be billed to all wet stored boats. Portions of snow removal, ice eaters if necessary will also be billed. The marina shall not be held responsible for any ice related damage. All seacocks must be in serviceable condition and be closed during the winter months. ( ) WINTER WET LIVE ABOARD - $53.00/ft x LOA, runs from Nov 1 st to May 30th. Plus electricity and ice eaters. A $20.00 minimum monthly electric hook-up charge will be billed to all wet stored boats. Portions of snow removal will also be billed. Bathroom and laundry facilities available all winter. ( ) INSIDE DINGHY STORAGE - $ INDOOR, STORAGE ONLY, HANDLING AND WASHING BILLED AT YARD RATES. 3 Summer Slip Agreement 2018 May 1, 2018 to October 30, 2018 SUMMER SLIP AGREEMENTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED WHEN, THE AGREEMENTS ARE FILLED OUT IN FULL, SIGNED AND A $250 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITH PROOF OF CURRENT VESSEL INSURANCE IS ATTACHED. SUMMER SLIP RATES: Slips are finger minimum as listed below plus $120/ft of additional vessel length over all. Boat length is Length Overall (LOA). It includes bowsprits, boomkins, swim platforms, anchor roller protrusions, etc. Yard will measure all boats. Rate includes water. Electric is additional and priced below. Services billed after May 1st will increase 20%. Our smallest slips do not come with slip specific water, cable or electric. Call for more info. 6 OUTDRIVE and OUTBOARD MAINTENANCE OUTDRIVE MAINTENANCE The following is a compilation of services provided for outdrive maintenance. To sign up for service, please reference the attached Spring Commission Checklist or Winterization Checklist. The owner will be contacted if, during an inspection, anything is discovered to be in need of repair. An estimate can be provided upon request. Prices are based on Mercury Mercruiser outdrives that have received annual routine service. Additional charges may apply based on outdrive condition, Volvo or OMC REMOVE and STORE OUTDRIVE & PERFORM COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE..$ plus materials. This is a highly recommended service. Remove Drive & inspect transom assembly, lubricate gimble bearing, universals and shift cables (if required) Inspect all bellows and hoses in transom assembly. Pressure check upper and lower gear housing. Drain gear lube & check for impurities. Refill drive. Remove propeller, grease prop shaft and reinstall. Send prop(s) for reconditioning, if necessary (additional charge) Drain, flush and refill remote reservoir; clean as necessary Service transom assembly and check engine alignment Store drive indoors during the winter.
