1 Attachment A: Liquefied Natural Gas Pump Specifications Vendor shall provide PGW with a new cryogenic submersible pump. The pump shall be tank mounted and removable. The pump shall be cooled and lubricated by the pumped liquid (LNG). The pump shall be designed to be lowered into the existing 21.5" ID pump barrel and rest on a beveled lip at the bottom of the barrel. The pump lifting assembly shall be segmented type composed of short cables connected with plates for installation and removal. Vendor shall provide head plate with lifting lugs attached for installation and removal of pump. The entire junction box to be UL listed and suitable for hazardous areas. There shall be two electrical penetration seal flanges and two nitrogen purge points. Pump shall be manufactured with a thrust control mechanism to minimize impact on pump bearings. IMPORTANT: In order for the proposal to be valid, the Proposer MUST input the new pump values in the column labeled "Vendor Proposed Value" below. The last column in the table labeled "PGW MAX Value" is the max value PGW will accept for the pump charaterics listed. Example: PGW MAX Value for minimum pump flow required is 500 GPM. 3 Attachment C: Testing Service Agreement Specifications Specification Description Comply (Yes or No) Manufacturing and Material Test All pump materials shall be tested and certified by the manufacturer prior to assembling the pump. Hydrostatic Test on Pump and Components All components subjected to a differential working pressure in excess of 1 barg (14.5 psig) are to be tested either individually or in conjunction with other components. In the case of hydrostatic testing the pressure will be one and one half (1.5) times the maximum working pressure (MWP). The MWP is the maximum differential pressure the part will be exposed to during field operation. Clear water of ambient temperature is to be used. Pneumatic Feed Through Leak Test Electrical Tests In pneumatic testing, the pressure will be one and one quarter (1.25) times the maximum working pressure (MWP). This test will be performed on the Electrical Feed Thru Assembly. High Potential Test (AC) for High Voltage Motors (to be performed in accordance with NEMA Standard) Insulation Resistance Test (Megger Test) Power Surge Test Winding Resistance Test Head vs. Capacity Test A five point test shall be completed testing the pump's flow rate and head pressure at Shutoff, minimum continuous, 70 to 80%, rated and maximum continuous flows. Net Positive Suction Head Test This test shall be completed to show pump performs and operates at 7 inches NPSHR. Vibration Level Readings Test Using total of one accelerometer, mounted on the end bell, the overall vibration will be recorded at each data point from Head vs. Capacity Test. 4 Attachment C: Testing Service Agreement Specifications Specification Description Comply (Yes or No) Starting Current Draw tests This shall be completed during performance test in test liquid (LNG) At the start-up of each pump, the starting current at 100% voltages will be observed and recorded by using a wave form analyzer. Performance Pump Curves at 35, 50 and 60 Hz All Performance test listed above shall be completed with VFD at 35, 50 and 60 Hz. Pump curves shall be given for both frequencies. PGW is requesting Vendor come to PGW Richmond Plant Facility and survey existing pump to ensure the new pump can sit flush and secure in the existing barrel. Drawings Drawings of new Pump and All assemblies and systems including but not limited too. Lifting assembly, Pump, Electrical, VFD, etc. Manuals Vendor shall provide a manual covering all parts, materials, operations and functions of the LNG Pump, ABB VFD and any other equipment manuals applicable. Installation Procedures Test Reports Supervision of Pump Installation Vendor shall provide instructions for installing pump into existing barrel. This procedure should detail how to use the lifting assembly and all other relevant information. Vendor shall send a representative to witness and advise the company when installing the LNG pump.
