5 ALU axxent PLUS-K Assembly of the tilt only security stay Unsecured sash frames can pose a risk of injury. > When it is being inserted into the frame, the unsecured sash frame can suddenly tilt downwards and lead to serious injuries. 1) Always have two people present when hanging or removing the tilt sash. All rules and regulations regarding occupational safety must always be observed in overhead work, work on ladders and work involving great heights. 1. Packer (858) Fastening plate Safety plate Bolt (857) Stop plate (856) Installing the tilt only security stay Preparation Drill holes for tilt only security stay according to specification on page Position fastening plate on frame groove and fix with countersunk screws Fix M5 x 13 (902) (Torque 2.7 ± 0.25 Nm). 2. Insert stop plate (856) and bolt (857) in the guide groove and fix with countersunkscrews M5 x 13 (902) (Torque 2.7 ± 0.25 Nm). 3. Tilt up the tilt only security stay. 4. Hinge tilt only security stay in the installed bolt (857). 5. Tilt back the safety plate to the original position. Lift-off in the reverse order Tilt only security stay in full tilt cleaning position 6. In tilt position, lift sash slightly. 7. 6 ALU axxent PLUS-K Assembly instructions Preparation 1. From FB (sash width) > 750 mm 2400 mm make punch out for ALU handle () from FB > 1020 mm 2400 mm for window handle (H3/H4) (see page 7). 2. Open the operating rod guide groove. 3. From FB > 1020 mm, rework operating rods S3 according to specifications on page Assembly of the BS ALU axxent PLUS-K see documentation Possible settings: Document no H LS004EN Assembly and disassembly: Document no. H45.axntLS002EN. Sash 5. Position stop (429) according to the specifications on page 5 and lock in place with punching screw (torque 2.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB Fasten standard skylight snapper (sash hardware). FB > Insert coupling bracket (600) horizontally at the top. 8. Screw on handle ALU () and handle support ALU (915) with M5 x 12 (908) cheese head screws (torque 2.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB (ALU coupling set) 9. Insert slider (700) with operating rod S3, coupling bracket (600), operating rod S3 and slider (700) horizontally at the top. 10. Screw on handle ALU () and handle support ALU (915) with M5 x 12 (908) cheese head screws (torque 2.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB (ALU gear set) 11. Insert slider (700) with operating rod S3, operating rod S3 and slider (700) horizontally at the top. 12. Insert ESG ALU M6 (620) into the opening provided (see page 7). 13. Screw ESG ALU M6 (620) to the operating rod S3 with coupling screws M6 (907) (PZ 2, torque 2.75 ± 0.25 Nm). 14. Screw on window handle (H3) using countersunk screw M5 x 35 (904) (PZ 2, torque 2.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB > Position run up block (533) according to the specifications on page 7. FB > Position locking bolt (710) according to the specifications on page 7 and fix in place with a grub screw (torque 1.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB > Position locking bolt (710) according to the specifications on page 7 and fix in place with a grub screw (torque 1.5 ± 0.25 Nm). Frame 18. Position BS axxent PLUS-K (2) according to the specifications on page 8 and fix each into place with a grub screw (torque 2.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB Fasten standard skylight snapper (frame fitting part). FB > Position strikers (505) according to specifications on page 8 and fix each in place with a grub screw (torque 1.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB > Position striker MV (709) according to specifications on page 8 and fix in position with grub screw (torque 1.5 ± 0.25 Nm). FB > Position striker MV (709) according to specifications on page 8 and fix in place with a grub screw (torque 1.5 ± 0.25 Nm). Final assembly 23. Connect sash to the frame. 24. Check that the window works correctly. 25. If necessary, adjust the sash compression using eccentric locking cam. Hinging the tilt only stay 26. Push back the anti-lift device of the stop (429) (fig. 1). 27. Insert pan head rivet of the ALU tilt only stay (427) into the guide provided (fig 1). 28.
