Front Cover - ABC With the Kirby range of Drop-In Packaged Units, life has been made easy. These plug and play, feature packed systems are supplied complete - ready to run and easy to install. It means the hard work is taken out of the job, so you can be on your way, sooner. Now Heatcraft have made it even easier to use the Kirby Drop-in units with a Dixell control installed as standard on all models, plus the larger units come with an extended cable so you are able to remote mount the digital thermostat. 3 Features & Benefits Kirby Drop-in Packaged Refrigeration Units: Dixell electronic thermostat controls are fitted to all units Medium Temperature Units feature off cycle defrost Low Temperature Units feature real time electric defrost with temperature switch termination and a low pressure safety switch Evaporator coil corrosion protection to medium temp low profile units All models use CFC-free foam insulation New and improved, slimline electrical box All units designed for reduced refrigerant charge All units now come with safety pressure controls All units fitted with XW60K thermostats have 3 different temperature probes (one for the evaporator coil, one for the condenser coil, and one for the room temperature) All units use tube support sleeves and saddles for the drier to reduce vibration and noise Medium temperature units now designed for R134a with TX valve fitted Note: Qualified refrigeration professionals should supervise initial selection and commissioning.
