Dean s Super-Liners are all fitted with the mdrive automated manual transmission, and the MP hp engine, both of which add up to significant fuel savings. These trucks have taken us from an average of 1.7 km-per-litre to 1.8, says Dean. That may not sound like much, but when you do 280,000 km each year and diesel s at $1.50 per litre, that 0.1 amounts to fuel savings of about $13,725 a year per truck. That s good for business.
