7 Inspection and maintenance operations on the engine Check before and after drive check the engine oil level, for proper check be sure the engine temperature is at least 70 C, turn the engine off and after two minutes read the indicator, the level should be in the upper half of MIN/MAX range check the coolant level in the expansion tank check the tightness and any leaks of petrol hose connection while engine is running check for any leaks of all uid circuits check the automatic switch of fan cooler when the temperature reaches 82 C do not put load on the engine while the temperature is below 80 C after putting the engine under load always let the turbo cool in idling mode for about 2-4 minutes do not turn the engine off while the temperature is higher than 85 C minimum amount of fuel in the tank for safe operation is 12 lt, operation below this level could cause an engine damage Maintenance oil change and oil lter change in speci ed intervals air lter maintenance, clean the air lter only by using air poly-v belt inspection checks of tightness of engine mounts and reaction arm, please respect prescribed tightening torques
