2 CORDOBA ENGINEERING was started in the year 1975 with a built up area of 8000 sq.ft as a manufacturer of Sheet Metal Components for Automobile Industries and Light Fabrication Job for major Industries. The unit has gradually grown with addition of capacities and product lines backed with rich technical expertise. Today we have large production capacities for the manufacture of all types of Iron & Steel components, light fabrication & Heavy Fabrication, Elastic Rail Clip for Indian Railways and specified items for Indian ordinance factories with strict emphasis on product s quality at every stage of the production cycle. We also Design and develop Tools and Dies, Fixtures and Gauges which tells upon the quality of output of the products This facility has enables us to be competitive both financially and technically in the production of quality products within minimum cycle time at most economical rates. Today Cordoba Engineering (P) Ltd. has been accredited with ISO-TS: Standard. We have also been financial rated by Duns and Brad Street (Duns No: ). At present the built up area of the unit is 1,25, sq.ft

3 Promotors: Shri Maurice Saupin a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering started the Unit, with technical expertise and business acumen skills in the year 1975 in a small shed. In 1981 a leading business Group headed by Mr. Satish Kumar Garg; a Commerce Graduate took the management of the Company. Later on Mr Amit Garg, a Graduate Engineer in Industrial Production & Mr. Sumit Garg a Graduate Engineer in Computer Science joined as Directors of the Company in 1998 & The Company expanded from the built up area of 8,000 sq.ft. We follow QAP from HEC Ltd., Bhilai Steel Plant, TRF Ltd. Process Control Equipments: - We have all the facilities for the manufacturing of sheet metal pressing components and fabrication involving welding, spot welding right from the tool design to production. Process Control System equipped with Templates, Gauges and Fixtures in every stage of production. Operators and supervisors inspect the process frequently. TO MATCH OR EXCEED THE CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS THROUGH TEAM WORK AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Tooling, Dies & Fixture Availability: - Tools are the main critical component at the production stage of pressed components, for which we have a well maintained tool room for our production needs.we own advanced product design system, advanced process facilities, perfect test method and complete dies processing equipments. Our dies are designed and produced perfectly inhouse. We have experienced and qualified tool design engineers supported by skilled workers like machinist, Turner & Grinder to maintain the finish & dimensions with strict tolerances, which gives out a quality product. Tooling & Dies are developed for the all components for example: Assy. Sub Structures, Brackets, Support, Reinforcement, Floor Panels and other sheet metal products. 9 Condition of Machines, Tooling & Equipments Machines are running in good conditions. Time to time over hauling of machines, lubricating the machine and giving the load within the tolerance returns good performance of machines. Supervisors and operators giving their utmost attention they keep the machines as well as the tooling & equipment in good conditions and every Saturday 4.00 PM to 4.30 PM an audit is conducted. PRODUCE QUALITY WHILE IN PROCESS Shop Floor Layout, House Keeping & Material Handling Shop floor layout is planned in such a way to frequent movement of product from one machine to another one during production process. We are giving priority to clean the house properly every day to maintain atmosphere and good look. They are trained with exampled the consequences of the lack of house keeping. In the case material handling, we are using electric hoist & manual trolley. We have planned to automate the system to meet the requirement as per the specifications of the Customers. We are concentrating mainly on automation of special process (like welding, painting etc.), as they require major concern at customer end. We are studying the factors to modernize the material handling system, to effect the cost reduction as well as time consumption. We have ordered for TESA Micro Hite Plus M 600 MOTORISED Height gauge set 2 Co-ordinate measuring machine to eliminate human errors in the inspection of products. 1) Since we have achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification, now it is our prime motive to supply high quality material and we target to supply components at a lowest PPM (Below 100 PPM). 2) Our present sales volume is approx. Rs.42 crore per annum. Our sales target is Rs. 60 crore per annum in the coming year. 3) We have purchased 3.5 acre land in industrial area of Adityapur and we are also expanding our unit i.e. Cordoba Engg. (P) Ltd. (Unit III) for development of Wiper Assembly and Wiper Motor for the leading automobile sectors, further we have opened a other unit for Fabrication and export related orders, So that we can accommodate new machineries and a well settled Quality Assurance Department and Value added Engineering section. We have already advertised for qualified engineers and skilled officials for our new venture. 4) Our investment plan for this year is Rs.10 Crores, which will include the purchase of material handling equipments, CNC Cutting & Welding Machines, Horizontal Boring Machine, Inspection related instruments, tool room machineries and for total development of our existing systems. 5) Today there is a need of faster Prototype components for your Trial production of your Projects. We are always at a pressure of supplying Prototype components so that you can bring up the new models at a faster pace in order to meet the customers demand.
