1 Page 1(6) Application The monitoring report makes it possible to monitor how vehicles in the fleet have been driven during the period. The upper part of the monitoring report indicates how the total fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions of the fleet has changed since the preceding perioda. The table, located in the middle of the monitoring report, shows the values for each vehicle. Use the information in the table to see which vehicles and categories require improvement to reduce the fleet fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions Shows which fleet is covered in the monitoring report and during which period the values were collected. 2. Trend arrows indicate how the value has changed since the preceding perioda and whether the fuel consumption change is positive or negative. A plus sign in front of the value indicates an increase in fuel consumption while a minus sign indicates a decrease. The calculation includes fuel consumed when the vehicles are being driven and when they are idling. Note: Fuel consumed for power take-off operation is not included. Percentage change shows as a percentage how the fleet's fuel consumption has changed since the preceding period a. Percentage change = 100 x ((average fuel consumption for the period average fuel consumption for the preceding period a ) / average fuel consumption for the preceding period a ) Total change shows how the fleet's total fuel consumption has changed since the preceding period a. The value shows the difference between the total fuel consumption for the period and the fuel consumption the fleet would have had if it had driven the distance with the average fuel consumption of the preceding period. The distance is indicated as a footnote. 3 Scania Fleet Management Page 3(6) Trends and values in different categories The table shows how each vehicle was driven within different categories. You can view specific values for a vehicle and monitor how the values change using trend arrows. The fuel consumption and carbon dioxide categories show approximate values calculated based on other values reported by the vehicle. A dash ( ) is shown if the vehicle was driven a distance shorter than 10 km (6.2 miles) during the period or if the vehicle cannot report values in the category. The vehicle will not have values in one or more categories if: the vehicle is from a manufacturer other than Scania the vehicle is from the Scania 4 series the values are reported by an Interactor the vehicle does not subscribe to Scania Driver Support Vehicle shows the vehicle alias, registration number or VIN code. 2. Start shows when the first values for the period were reported from the vehicle. Information on how date and time are indicated is found in the Time zones section on page Stop shows when the final values for the period were reported from the vehicle. The time point may be after the end of the period. Information on how date and time are indicated is found in the Time zones section on page Odometer shows the reading on the vehicle odometer when the period ended. 5. Distance shows the total distance the vehicle was driven during the period. 6. Scania Driver Support shows the period's average score for all categories evaluated by Scania Driver Support. The average score in the monitoring report is not affected by the driving score being reset in the vehicle. The average score is only shown if the vehicle subscribes to Scania Driver Support. Information on Scania Driver Support can be found in the vehicle Driver's Manual. 7. Coasting shows what percentage of the distance the vehicle was driven during the period was done without any fuel injection in the engine. 8. Idling shows what percentage of the period's engine running time b the vehicle was idling. The vehicle is idling when the vehicle speed is less than 4 km/h and the power take-offs are disengaged. 9. Speeding shows what percentage of the period's engine running time b the vehicle has been driven faster (>) than the upper speed limit while fuel injection was operational. The calculation only includes speeding that has continued for 10 seconds or more. Speeding at < 0.1 km/h for 10 seconds is also included. The upper speed limit is set by the distributor. Contact your dealer to change the upper speed limit. 10. Harsh brake applications shows how many harsh brake applications were made on average per 100 km during the period. If several harsh brake applications are made at the same time, it only counts as one harsh brake application. 11. Fuel consumption shows the calculated fuel consumption for the vehicle during the period. The calculation includes fuel consumed when the vehicle is being driven and when it is idling. Note: Fuel consumed for power take-off operation is not included. b. Engine running time the time the engine is running.

The calculation includes carbon dioxide formed when the vehicle is driven, when it idles and when power take-offs are used. If Scania has no information on the vehicle's carbon dioxide emissions per fuel unit, the carbon dioxide calculation is based on European standard diesel (EN 590). Note: Carbon dioxide formed during the use of AdBlue is not included in the value. Only applies to vehicles with SCR system. 13. Average shows the fleet average for the category. The average is normally calculated by dividing the fleet's total value for the category by the fleet's total distance or engine running timeb. A list of how each calculation is made can be found on page 5. Trend arrows The direction of the trend arrows indicates whether the value increased or decreased since the preceding perioda. For vehicle fuel consumption, the colour of the arrows indicates whether the change is positive or negative. 5 - och milj Scania Fleet Management Page 5(6) Different types of monitoring reports The monitoring report can be one of three different types: weekly overview, monthly overview or yearly overview. Weekly overview shows the values of the fleet for the past week. The period runs from Monday to Sunday or from Sunday to Saturday. The start day of the period is set by your dealer. Contact your dealer if you want to change period. The weekly overview is sent within 2 days of the end of the period. Trend arrows and values for changed fuel consumption and changed carbon dioxide emissions show the change compared to the preceding week. Monthly overview shows the values of the fleet for the past month. The period runs from the first day of the month to the last day of the month. The monthly overview is sent within 5 days of the end of the period. Trend arrows and values for changed fuel consumption and changed carbon dioxide emissions show the change compared to the preceding month. Yearly overview shows the values of the fleet for the past year. The period runs from 1 January to 31 December. The yearly overview is sent within 15 days of the end of the period. Trend arrows and values for changed fuel consumption and changed carbon dioxide emissions show the change compared to the preceding year. Time zones Monitoring report shows date and time according to the time zone where you live. Contact your dealer if you want to change time zone. Units The values in the monitoring report are indicated in different units depending on your home country. Contact your dealer to change the units in the monitoring report. You can choose from the following groups of units: Km, l/100 km and litres Km, km/l and litres Miles, mpg and gallons (Imperial units) Averages Coasting. The total coasting time for the fleet divided by the total distance driven for the fleet. Idling. The total time vehicles in the fleet spent idling divided by the total engine running time b of the fleet. Speeding. The total time vehicles in the fleet exceeded the upper speed limit divided by the total engine running time b of the fleet. Harsh brake applications. The total number of harsh brake applications made by vehicles in the fleet divided by the total distance for all vehicles in the fleet. Fuel consumption. The total calculated fuel consumption for the fleet divided by the total distance for all vehicles in the fleet (if the unit is l/100 km). The total distance for vehicles in the fleet divided by the calculated fuel consumption for the fleet (if the unit is mpg or km/l). b. Engine running time the time the engine is running.

6 Scania Fleet Management Page 6(6) Subscription Change or add an address Contact your dealer to change or add a new address to the subscription. If you have access to Scania Fleet Management Portal, you can use to change addresses, add them to or delete them from your subscription. Cancel monitoring reports If you no longer want to receive messages with information about the fleet, you can de-register your address via the link, De-register address, in the message. Other addresses will continue receiving the monitoring reports. End subscription Contact your dealer if you want to end the subscription for the fleet or for a specific vehicle. If you end the subscription for a vehicle, that vehicle will not be included in future monitoring reports. For example, it will not be depicted in the yearly report, even if the vehicle had a subscription at the start of the year. Expanding your subscription Contact your dealer if you want to expand your subscription to a more extensive analysis package from Scania Fleet Management.
