Its extruded aluminium profile not only gives it strength and quality, but a clean, architectural appearance which is unmatched by it s rolled steel counterparts. itrack has been optimized for retail environments. Surface mounted or suspended; brand identity can remain consistent with or without suspended ceilings. To compliment the comprehensive range of track, new luminaire systems have been developed to maximise the flexibility and simplicity of itrack. All of these luminaires come with the itrack adaptor for simple installation, repositioning and phase selection. These luminaires take advantage of itrack s discreet profile to create a cutting edge look wherever they are used. 9 designit innovative Track Linear Design freedom itrack is the most flexible lighting system available, integrating ambient and lighting, controls and emergency into a single package. Whether it s a continuously mounted or grid configured lighting scheme, itrack is the perfect lighting solution. All ambient luminaires have been specifically designed for itrack, maximising the benefits of the system. Accent lighting can be achieved with either itrack s own spotlight range, or, due to the unique open system characteristics, any standard three circuit track spotlight. 10 installit interlinking Track Reducing installed cost 100 With today s ever increasing labour costs, time spent on site can be extremely expensive. itrack has been designed to be fast and efficient to install, reducing installation time by up to 80% when compared to a traditional hard wired system. This not only results in an overall cost saving, but can dramatically accelerate any shopfit programme; projects can be delivered quicker and opened sooner. Simple L1/L2/L3 phase selection from outside luminaire body The power to connect The ability to carry a significant amount of power lays at the heart of the itrack system. It has three power circuits that can be configured to carry either three separate switched lives, or be used as a three-phase system with a rating of 16A per phase. Whichever configuration is chosen, the phase is easily selected from outside of the luminaire. This not only speeds up the installation process, but also allows for instant changes to lighting configurations without needing to remove the luminaires. Any form of lighting control will bring significant energy savings to any application. itrack can be controlled in many different ways. 1. When using layered circuits, simple lighting control can be achieved by hard wiring presence detectors between itrack and the mains power. In the illustration above the L1 luminaires would be controlled by a mains switch to give a level of standby illumination, whilst luminaires on the L2 circuit are controlled by presence detectors for occupancy illumination. 2. itrack can be used in conjunction with DALI hubs and switches to create fully customised daylight dimming and presence detection schemes for applications such as retail stores. 14

15 controlit interactive Track Multiple circuits for layered control options itrack s three lighting circuits can easily be switched to create three levels of illuminance. Luminaires can be assigned to each of the three circuits, either during installation or post installation, by simply selecting the desired position on the luminaire track adapter. These three circuits can be controlled manually, by remote detectors, or used in combination to create a simple control system. Unlike traditional hard-wired systems that have to be structured before installation, itrack controls can be configured and changed at any time. Dimming (C1) Dimming (C2) DALI brings ultimate flexibility For the most flexible control systems, itrack luminaires are available with DALI control gear. This enables each luminaire to be switched or dimmed individually to create the most efficient lighting schemes. A DALI multi-sensor is available as part of the itrack system to bring presence detection and daylight dimming to any area. DALI allows users to remotely switch and group luminaires through a software interface, rather than manually selecting circuits on the track adapter. 17 exit integrated Track Integrated emergency systems Integral emergency luminaires << Self contained or central battery EmLed << Central testing options << With five circuits dedicated to emergency lighting functions, these requirements are at the forefront of itrack s system development. LED technology lighting the way forward emled, a LED based emergency lighting system, has been developed specifically to take advantage of itrack s emergency capability. Available as both a self-contained non maintained system or for use with central batteries, emled makes the ultimate emergency lighting systems affordable. emled requires significantly fewer batteries in a central system, and negates the need for separate fire rated cabling, reducing the installed cost compared to traditional systems. The constant trickle charge required to maintain emergency batteries can account for up to 14% of the luminaires overall energy consumption. This parasitic load can be reduced dramatically by using LED emergency systems that, because of their extremely low energy consumption, require only a fraction of the power to charge. Integration at all levels If LED emergency systems are not suitable for an application, all itrack ambient luminaires are available with three hour integral emergency versions. When coupled with a DALI Empro gear, advanced central testing can be achieved. Lower energy consumption It is not generally recognised that integral emergency luminaires can add significantly to the overall energy consumption of a lighting installation. 18 sellit inspirational Track Retail applications itrack offers retailers an unrestricted level of flexibility, whatever the application. Traditionally, pre-wired lighting systems have been used in retail environments such as supermarkets and out-of-town developments due to their low cost and speed of installation. itrack is equally suited to these environments but offers the retailer much more than cost savings. you need to illuminate products with shelves split on different sides of the aisle or on different levels. The addition of integrated three circuit accent lighting means that feature areas within stores can be illuminated with the same system used throughout, enhancing the sales offer. With the specially designed Dupio luminaire, vertical illuminance is guaranteed, capturing the customer attention by emphasising the display and highlighting the products themselves. 21 sellit intelligent Track Supermarkets and retail parks itrack can be used in conjunction with DALI hubs and switches to create fully customised daylight dimming and presence detection schemes in shops. itrack has such a large power capacity, particularly when operated as a three phase system, that it is the obvious solution for large area shop lighting; in addition to being the fastest and easiest lighting system to both install and manage. From a continuous line of light to an aisle specific arrangement, creating lighting solutions is always easy to achieve. Because itrack can handle ambient, accent and emergency lighting requirements, in one discrete and compact section, the overall aesthetic is very sympathetic to shopfit design and will compliment any brand identity. Store lay-outs and clever merchandising can drive sales, but creating the right environment is often influenced by the lighting and the ability to position it accurately around a store. itrack s luminaire systems have been carefully designed so that they can direct light in the sales area in the right quantity and quality, with no compromise when fine tuning is required. Perimeter areas can benefit from using continuous asymmetric reflectors to highlight wall merchandise.
