5 Volvo Cars Bilia South Yarra, VIC Eagle Lighting Australia worked with Wood and Grieve Engineers to provide a retail lighting solution for Volvo Cars Bilia South Yarra. The new showroom opened in late 2015, with a complete fit out having taken place. Many levels within the showroom needed to achieve 700 lux. It was important for ELA to gain the right contrast as vertical illuminations had to stand out from the street view, allowing the showroom to serve as additional marketing for the Volvo brand. It was also important that the spotlights were equipped with high colour rendering LED s, ensuring that the cars in the showroom are accurately presented and shown in the best light to the potential buyer. Fagerhult Marathon LED became the central product of choice, ticking all the boxes in terms of aesthetic design, paint colour and quality finish, CRI, flexibility in orientation and range of beam distributions available. The medium beam distribution was important to include as it provided the punch and contrast the space needed. Fagerhult Pleiad G3 LED downlights were positioned around reception and general circulation areas, drawing focus to front of house staff and glare-free orientation light as you walk through the showroom doors. This creates a warm and welcoming feel, encouraging the customer to walk through the front doors. Fagerhult Dome highbay s were also used in the detailing/wash bays. These provided the high lighting levels required by maintenance staff that meticulously check and maintain vehicles to the highest standards.

Other advantages of this three-circuit system include its high loading capacity and the ability to form independent fixture groups in all three circuits. This permits illumination of the most demanding retail environments. DESCRIPTION Lighting Track Pro s is a 3-phase system that complies to Euro Standard. It s made of extruded aluminium and has four 4mm² section copper conductors (three phases and one neutral max 16A each maximum 3680W) insulated in PVC. Lighting Track Pro can be surface mounted on drop rods or wire pendant and recessed. Available in three colours; white (RAL 9016), black (RAL 9005) and in grey (RAL 9006), recessed version in white (RAL 9016). POWER SUPPLY Operating voltage 230V. i OTHER INFORMATION Lighting Track Pro is only available in one length (3000mm), it s very easy to cut the track to required length on site since the conductor ends do not require bending or to be cut off.
