It weighs 11 kg and due to this, can be lowered and recovered easily by hand from the boat, as well as a rowboat, where necessary. The anchor Bolina is a tool designed anchorage of vessels, characterized by a form likely to cling to the seabed. The construction of the mirror frame has a backhand that can not fall on its side or even upside down. Thanks to this peculiarity, it can be lowered into the sea and put into force without any specific preparation. When you lay on the seabed, the anchor Bolin took the best position to sink one of the first two marre pulling the chain. A series of practical and instrumental tests performed on the funds of various kinds allowed to verify the excellent grip of the anchor and its resistance to high stress and, therefore, can be profitably used for boats of up to 14 meters. The space that characterizes it, arising from design, it is widely tolerated in the light of the significant advantages set forth herein. Once disassembled, its small footprint that facilitates the storage, makes it absolutely perfect as a spare anchor and is ideal as a primary anchor when sailing in the bay. The anchor Bolin is designed so that when leaning on the seabed, the increased weight on the tip of operational fluke. Tensile strength of the chain, the fluke enters the ground, weighed down by the load of the overlying part, and the side arms stabilize the fluke in a horizontal position, thereby providing greater resistance to the pull of the chain. With increasing tensile anchor BOLINA sinks into the ground until it rests with the arms on the surface. If subjected to excessive pulling or tugging strong anchor can sink even with the two arms of support. With the rotation of the wind and the lateral traction of the chain, does not lift but rotates on the spot, under the two arms resting on the ground that prevent lateral tipping: a key feature for an anchor. 23 ELECTRICAL WINDLASSES Quick Windlasses The PRINCE Seriess is equipped with motors ranging from 300 to 1500 W. The design is completely new compared to all previous Quick models, and has been conceived to perfectly meet the market requirements. The bases, drums and gypsy covers are externally made of Aisi 316 stainless steel, and internally made of composite material, in order to offer resistance and lightness at the same time. The gypsies are in chromed bronze and the main components are in AISI 316 stainless steel. The motor-gearboxes, manufactured by Quick, are in anodized aluminium and all motors are equipped with a waterproof casing. The DP 700, 1000 and 1500 W models have an IP67 protection.
