We rate, design, develop and produce entire wheelset systems and individual wheelset components to customer specification including, as a speciality, lightweight, low-noise and resilient wheels and single-piece forged axles in a wide variety of designs for low-floor tram cars. our low-wear materials, developed in-house, are tailor-made to meet modern rail traffic demands and have been proving their worth in everyday service for decades. 5 OUR MARKET As a leading international manufacturer of railway rolling stock material, we are a major contributor to prestigious projects on all five continents with our wheelset systems and services. our wheelset systems are used on mainline rail networks for high-speed trains long-distance trains locomotives and regional railcars, as well as goods wagons and on local traffic networks for underground trains municipal railways and trams metros suburban and regional trains. 5 our customers include such important rail vehicle manufacturers as AlStoM transport Bombardier transportation Siemens transportation Systems Stadler rail We provide spare parts and maintenance services for the major group of rail operators. Also for Deutsche Bahn Ag and other important european state railways as well as private railway companies and wagon owners in the sector standard-gauge railways. our local traffic customers include public rail passenger service operators such as light rail, tramway and underground railway systems. the customers for our seamless rolled rings are to be found in Asia and north America as well as in numerous european countries. our rings are used industrially for pivot bearings and rolling bearings, in tank, plant and gear construction, in the feedstuffs industry and in wind turbines.

We use state-of-the-art production technologies and only materials which have been subjected to stringent testing. We have a first-class, qualified workforce which we train regularly, thus ensuring consistent improvement of our expertise and the transfer of know-how. 7 QUALITY MANAGEMENT utilisation of our products around the globe requires co-operation with a very wide range of international training and certification agencies. our integrated quality management system (ims) is certified to Din en iso 9001 and Din en iso and is improved and optimised on a regular basis. We meet iris (international railway industry Standard) requirements and are certified for the development, manufacture, sale and repair of railway rolling stock. We have been a Q1 supplier certified by german national rail service operator DB Ag for many years. We also have approvals from many other european and international railway companies, such as SBB, ÖBB, ns, nsb, SncB and AAr. 7 We have, additionally, various product qualifications relating to molybdenum coating, bond shrinking, shrinking-on and the welding of railway vehicle components in accordance with Din germany s Federal railway Authority (eba) has certified us for specialist appraisals relating to the maintenance of wheelsets and wheelset bearings. We are also certified by gl, Det norske Veritas, DB Ag, tüv and lloyd s register, among others, for the manufacture of seamless-rolled rings and wheel tyres.
