4 MVG in a overview Allgemein The MVG is the transportation company of the state capitol Munich In course of the local public transport scheme of the state capitol Munich the MVG plans, operates and finances its offer Responsible for the U-Bahn, Bus and Tram in Munich (as well as Garching and Grünwald) October 2015: MVG Rad bike hire system is launched with bikes 1022 vehicles (U: 562, T: 113, B 347) + c. 200 buses of private MVG partners Network: 106 routes (U: 8, T: 13, B: 69, N: 16) at a distance of 641 km common tariff in the MVV 2015: 566 millions of passengers Over employees at the SWM transport division + MVG, c. 700 at private partners 4
