20 Standards and choices In 2012 ANWB opted for 6 DC Chademo charging stations: Range of electric cars with a chademo fast charging function Other standards did not yet exist In 2014 ANWB opted for AC fast charging stations: Choice of location determined by the desired charging speed Uncertainty regarding charging standards. AC can charge every car Much lower costs and less uncertainty ANWB would now opt for a combined station

21 Operational use - You can activate your charging station with an interoperable charge card (Dutch standard, RFID) - Charging station forwards CDR (Charge Detail Record) to the service provider (Dutch market model) - Customers gets the cost of the charging session in the monthly invoice from the Service Provider

22 Use and performance - Average charging session: 8 kwh - Most sessions between 11:00 13:00 hour and 15:00 17:00 hour

26 Currently this means charging with: (1) CCS (Combined Charging System), (2) CHAdeMO and (3) AC up to 43 kw. Do you charge with a CCS or CHAdeMO connector? Your battery then generally gets a charge of roughly 80% in 15 to 30 minutes. With an AC connector the charge depends on the type of car.
