5 Preventive Maintenance: CCTV Preventive Maintenance includes Inspection of the pole structure Clean camera dome Inspect dome and housing Report any anomaly Results Older cameras showed water and bugs intrusion PM enabled better planning and maintenance Reduces response time and cost to each issue

6 Preventive Maintenance: VDS Vehicle detection systems types MVDS In-pavement VDS Bluetooth Preventive maintenance includes MVDS: Manual vehicle count per lane and travel speed compared to MVDS data In-pavement VDS: Monitor battery life of wireless sensors Results Increases reliability and accuracy Provides accurate travel time

7 Preventive Maintenance: DMS Visual inspection of DMS site and display; replace parts if needed Full diagnostic of DMS sign through controller Inspect and clean DMS sign and cabinet Testing and maintenance of batteries Verify power supply for any sign of failure Repair and/or replacement of components
