The ROBUS visitor centre was opened in August 2012 and was designed to provide both wholesalers and contractors with an overview of the ROBUS range as well as a state of the art conferencing centre. 16 INTRODUCTION 15 CUSTOMISED CONVERSIONS LED Group also offers a customised conversion service, providing bespoke product solutions converting light fittings to suit individual project requirements. For example converting standard fittings to emergency, dual power and / or sensor functionality. The Customised Conversions team are available to provide advice and assess products on their conversion suitability. Sensor conversion includes an integral sensor which provides the trigger input for the Dual Power control gear function and is a neat all in one solution. The sensor will also control additional fittings which can be slaved from the master fitting and is ideal for corridor or stairway and landing applications. All conversions are carried out in our Dublin workshop by a team of highly trained professionals All converted products are supplied with CE classification and comply with EN Converted products have colour coded wiring Site visits/commissions & certificates of compliance provided Lighting Association certified and ISO9002 accredited 48 hour turnaround Excellent after sales service Emergency Conversion provides an alternative to selfcontained emergency lighting and is the term used for inserting a power pack, sometimes called a conversion module (control module & battery pack) into any mains only luminaire to enable it to also function as a combined mains/ emergency light. A high intensity LED shall indicate when mains supply is present and the battery pack is accepting charge. WHO DO YOU TALK TO? Modules fitted in remote enclosures should normally be sited within 300mm of the fitting (max 1m). Integral conversions are dependent on the space available within the fitting and the type of gear used. Dual Power conversion allows a choice of up to 5 background light levels to be maintained for both LED or 2D light sources. It is ideal for extended or 24/7 operation providing substantial energy and maintenance cost savings whilst providing a night light often required for some installations. Full output is activated by a mains voltage trigger input from a time lag switch, integral or external sensor. After the trigger input is removed the output dims to the chosen background light level.
