The TRIUMPH ACTIVATE 8W LED FIRE RATED DOWNLIGHT provides the best of today s leading edge technology. Made in a fully automated semiconductor module assembly plant and quality controlled by machine vision technology, the ACTIVATE driver-on-board light engine at the heart of TRIUMPH incorporates uniquely robust silver-free flip-chip technology to create a robust chip-on-board light emitting surface, free of fragile wire bonds. Supplied as standard with a stylish 38 LEDCHROIC optic, the robust COB technology allows the installer to interchange this with a wide beam 60 LEDCHROIC optic offered as an accessory. TRIUMPH s wide cut out and flange make it ideal for retrofit halogen replacement for renovations, as well as in new, achieving the same light level using XX% less fittings, reducing installation costs, designed for standard ceiling heights, dimmable as standard.

2 ACTIVATE DRIVER ON BOARD TRUE Driver-on-Board (DOB) technology with all power supply, driver components, power factor correction, dimm-ability, surge protection and thermal protection integrated with the LED chip on the PCB which is AC powered directly from the mains supply. The TRIUMPH ACTIVATE DOB technology eliminates the old fashioned electrolytic capacitor, extending the fittings lifetime, and making it infinitely more reliable than separate drivers or drivers integrated into the fitting or heat sink. The integrated insulation stand-off means that insulation can be laid directly over the back of the fitting, eliminating the need to cut holes in mineral wool insulation, eliminating the need for fire hoods or cages and insulation accessories and ensuring there is a sufficient air gap between the insulation and heat sink for efficient operation. True Driver On Board All driver components are on the board. Mains connected directly to the board. Partial Driver On Board Usually has an integrated circuit on the board but often has other circuitry located elsewhere in the fitting, typically in the heat sink region. Integrated Driver Generally means that the driver circuitry is located elsewhere in the fitting, typically in the heat sink region, reducing the thermal mass of heat sinking and the efficiency of heat transport. Driver circuitry will typically be conventional. CHIP-ON-BOARD (COB) AND DRIVER ON-BOARD (DOB) COMBINED COMBINATION OF CHIP-ON-BOARD (COB) WITH DRIVER-ON-BOARD (DOB) LED TECHNOLOGY A unique combination which provides a high lumen output of 630/600 lumens, whilst having a low power consumption of only 8W and low heat emissions. Chip-On-Board is a more advanced semiconductor assembly technology, giving a single light emitting surface, and enabling a LEDCHROIC type optic to be used. True Driver-On-Board places a light engine at the heart of the luminaire, complete with all power conditioning circuits, driven directly from the mains supply.

3 The ROBUS innovation of low profile LEDCHROIC 38 optic and reflector technology gives the traditional look of a dichroic lamp with the efficiency of LED technology. The LEDCHROIC lens has a uniform light beam with gentle cut-off at extremities without any dark patches. It ensures minimal glare and delivers an even distribution of light, also with a high CRI making the TRIUMPH an excellent replacement for traditional halogen downlighting. The fitting s fire shield is designed to conduct heat away from the core components and LED COB while resisting fire. ROBUS has designed a customised heat sink for TRIUMPH. The high surface area aluminium finned heat sink provides optimal heat conduction away from the COB LED s and DOB components to ensure long service life. No quibble warranty, no internet product registration needed quiet simply if it fails within the warranty period due to a product issue, we replace it. 5 YRS EASY & FAST INSTALLATION The wide flange covers many existing cut-outs and makes this a great choice for retro-fits. The narrow main body fits into a wide range of ceiling voids. The TRIUMPHACTIVATE is pre-wired with 4 pin male/female plug & play connector and integrated cable restraint. This means that first fix wiring can be completed at an early stage and that switch and permanent live conductors are terminated in the connector to provide loop in/out facility. No junction boxes required saving time and cost. Fitting is stored safely while building work and decoration is carried out. The fitting is also insulation coverable.

It is possible to change trims to a different colour (white, polished chrome or brushed chrome). Hold retention spring vertically against heat sink, push fitting through the cut-out until the springs come down on the upper side of the plasterboard.
