The judging area will be open at the following times ONLY: Saturday: 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 Noon 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Sunday: 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 Noon 2:30 Awards Ceremony 1. All car show entries must be MOPAR powered except cars classed in the Mopar Street Rod class; these cars may be MOPAR powered, MOPAR bodied, or BOTH. (Must be Mopar powered and bodied to quality for Best of Show). 2. All cars to be judged must be driven through the judging area, which is located under the grandstands at the end opposite the starting line. As always, you must register your car(s) for the car show at the Registration Area located under the pavilion. This is where you will receive your judging Score Sheet. You must have this sheet filled out before you bring your car to the judging area. The judges WILL NOT come to you. Only race cars may be towed through the judging area. Judging times are listed above. 3. Classification of all cars, including Stock vs. Modified classes, will be done by the Chief Judge while you wait in the judging line. 4. Stock class: Authentic Cars Only. Clones will be in a modified class. 5. Cars classed as RACE CARS must not be licensed or inspected. 6. All windows must be rolled up when you enter the judging area. 7. All convertibles must enter the judging area with the top and windows up. After the judges have inspected the top, you will be instructed to lower the top and install the boot (if so equipped). 8. Each car will be judged by a JUDGING TEAM. Please be patient and follow the Chief Judge s instructions. After the judges have inspected the paint & body work and all window glass, you will be instructed to open the hood, trunk, all doors, and all windows, including flip out coupe windows. 9. Each class is guaranteed a First Place trophy and a Class Runner-Up trophy, assuming two or more cars are entered in a class. Additional Class Runner-Up trophies are awarded based on the actual number of cars entered in a class. The more cars entered in a class, the greater the number of trophies awarded. Additional trophies are awarded for Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Of Show, etc. BEST OF SHOW MUST BE 20 YEARS OLD OR OLDER. 10. All scores will be tallied by the judging clerks. As always, the scores and judging sheets are the property of HMCC. 11. THIS IS NOT A CONCOURS EVENT. ALL DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES ARE FINAL.

4 Greetings and Welcome to the 15th Annual Houston Mopar Show and Race My name is Alex Tennyson and I am the President of the Houston Mopar Connection Club, your host for the Show & Race. I welcome you and invite you to enjoy every aspect of the Show & Race to the fullest including the drag racing, the classic car show, the vendor midway, the raffles and giveaways, etc. And don t forget to say Thank You to all of our volunteers who help put on the Show & Race. They include the Space City Cruisers car club that does the car show judging and handles our 50/50 ticket sales, and the young cadets and their supervisors from the Civil Air Patrol that help at the gates, with parking, and various other chores. And of course, there are the many fine volunteers from the Houston Mopar Connection Club that handle all of the other duties including Registration as well as supervision of the Vendor Midway, the Racing, the Judging, and the Participant & Spectator Gates to name a few. So relax and enjoy all that the 15th Annual Houston Mopar Show & Race has to offer. As in past years, your attendance will help HMCC make significant financial contributions to the Houston Food Bank and other local charities.
