In the AFV range, there are two new items in the smaller scales - in 1/72nd scale, the Strv-103C for the Trumpeter kit, and another one for thetiger I for the 1/48th scale Skybow kit. With respect to 1/35th scale, there are altogether 11 new releases, among them two sets for Dragon s StuG.III Ausf.A. An interesting item will prove to be the set for the KV-1 Model 1942 released by Trumpeter, and for the Flak 18 88mm from AFV Club. After an absence of a couple of months, you'll find a new Zimeritt item in the list, a set for the Jagdtiger (Henshel), for the Dragon kit. Dragon kits are also represented by more new PE releases, such as Pz.I (Befehlswagen). This one is designed for Dragon kit #6222 specifically Strv.103C S-tank Tiger I early Stug.III Ausf.A Aside from the WW II items, there are some releases for modern tanks, such as the Italian C-1 Ariete and the Type 82 NBC Detection Vehicle, both for Trumpeter kits, and for the M1A1 Abrams by Academy Flak 18 88mm KV-1 Model C1 Ariete MBT Turning to aircraft, we have less releases for them this month, but they are mostly designed for newly released kits. There are three new sets for the 1/48th scale F-18F by Hasegawa, and two of these are color sets. Another 1/48th scale set is made for the Hasegawa F-1 Panther, and the last one is made for the older, but still nice, S-199 by Academy. In 1/72nd scale, the most interesting one should prove to be the set for Trumpeter s Vigilante (in color). The second color 1/72nd set is for the older F-14D by Revell, and the final one is an unpainted set covering Lancaster landing flaps, which will pave the way for some new sets for Hasegawa's Lancaster very soon S F-14D Tomcat Lancaster landing flaps

Our first 1/35th scale kit is exceptional thanks to a well thought out concept. We decided to develop not just a classic tank kit, representing external features only. Our Hetzer is no empty can! To save you money on an additional resin engine or interior detail sets, we added all interior subjects including a fully detailed engine. And make no mistake...not a lot of injection molding companies could do this in plastic, but I dare say we have certainly broken through that barrier in stunning fashion.

The combat area is also fully equipped, with a well detailed 75 mm gun, molded in both production versions. The gun is movable in both axes.

Speaking of the gun, there are some 20 pieces of 75 mm ammunition on both sides of the hull, and the roof mounted machine gun (MG 34) on the special mounting with bicycle style handle bars of the remote control for the MG. This compartment is also movable, the MG provides 360 degrees of firing radius. The four crew positions are also fully equipped, and the commander and driver position very nicely done, rich in detail. Commander position has, besides the seat, all the sighting and observation optics, which include two periscopes and the artillery style binoculars on the special arm mounting. The fire extinguisher is located on the back wall of the commander's position. With respect to the driver's position, there are nicely detailed control levers, and the gear box is included, with the brake, clutch and throttle pedals on the floor, of course. The instrument panel makeup is optional, the plastic one with the decals, or a photo-etched item with a color print. All the radio compartment detail is included on he left hull and the back wall, and the radios are one of the nicest details in the kit, in my opinion. There is the stencil data decal sheet for the interior stenciling. Turning to the exterior details, these are very rich as well, and don't lag behind the interior. All tools are present, with realistic photo-etched clasps. The characteristic tool box is also of optional construction; plastic glued with 5 parts, or a photo-etched one. The spare track have also the photo-etched clasps. There are more photo-etched details, besides those already mentioned, and also all the mesh screens and the exhaust cover plate, which is also very nicely detailed. The tracks are molded in segmented and individual links, composed of two long segments, two short (five link) segments and some 14 individual pieces for each track installation. The important thing is, that all parts fit very well. As usual, this is of paramount importance to us. Those of you familiar with our Fokker D.VII kit know the remarkable standard in component fit Eduard has been able to achieve...not just achieve, but maintain as well. So, to recap, the 1/35th scale Hetzer by Eduard contains 478 plastic parts. These account for the interior/exterior assemblies at 383 pcs, tracks 71 pcs, periscopes (clear frame) 6 pcs, and crew figures

at 24 pcs, There are 13 plastic frames. Photo-etched parts account for 121 pieces on one frame, and the kit also contains a masking sheet for wheel painting.

BRISTOL F-2B FIGHTER NIGHTFIGHTER The new 1/48th scale Nightfighter is the third released version of the Bristol F-2B Fighter. This one is released in the new style orange box, with color photo-etched parts. The instruction is not in the Fokker D.VII style, it is made in the classic line drawing style, because the Brisfit is not a complete computer design. The marking options are four, and these cover the most interesting fighting Brisfits known. However, we are going to release the colorful training Brisfits in Limited Edition next year, and I'm sure this boxing will be highly attractive. AND DECEMBER? The second version of the Hetzer (Late production) will be released already next month, together with Limited Edition Roland C.II Valfish, and a new figure set of 1/48th scale RFC personnel. Four ground crew and two pilots, which is, in fact, the established Eduard figure set style. DISCOUNTED KITS Before the end of the year, and before Christmas, we are offering a discount on some of the older kit items. Most of them are still available in limited amounts, and they will be sold out very quickly, I suspect. Some of these kits ill be released in Limited Edition in the future, but some of them will be
