The new Bf 110 has shown its sales potential very quickly, with the first batch of the Bf 110E (8203) selling out already after two weeks of sales. This figure represents a pace that is twice that of the Fw 190A-8, which was the fastest selling regular kit. This pace, which we originally anticipated to be on par with the Fw190A-8, caused some in-kit component shortfalls, bringing about some slight delivery delays. Finally we had to restock the plastic parts, along with the photo-etch sets, for 8203 much faster, having been done this past week, and the sales of our new best seller can now continue. The Bf 110E is not the most interesting member of the Bf 110 family. The Bf 110 family has two crests, I guess, which would be the Bf 110C and Bf 110G. There have been many questions regarding our intention (or lack of) to release these versions as well. The answer is, yes, we will. The Bf 110C will be released in November, 2007, under the item number The Bf 110G is also in our schedule. However, we expect this release quite a bit later, in late 2008 or early There are some reasons for the late release date. First off, the Bf 110G is about a 70% new project, and needs significant changes in the plastic parts design. Our 'G' concept is very involved, with many variants of weapons and equipment. For example, we are planning four optional radar equipment variations, and three optional nose weapon options within the scope of this project. Secondly, I m certain that the longer pause from the current releases will simply help to better acceptance of a brand new G version. Bf 110C camouflages Another project connected with the Bf 110 is the Royal Class boxing. We expect the Royal Class release in early 2008, with two complete kits inside the box containing optional parts for C, D and E versions. This will include the respective night fighters, a fuselage for the D and E long versions, and the so called Dackelbauch, the famous huge belly tank. The bonus will be the award replica again, the Iron Cross in this case, and a 1:4 scale kit of the instrument panel. A collection of extra photo-etching is included, of course. The price will be similar to R0004 Fw 190A-8.

2 KITS IN SEPTEMBER We continue with the Fw 190A family in October, as promised. Our successful Fw 190A-8 and Fw 190A-5 are sold out, the only available Eduard Focke-Wulf remains the quite fresh Fw 190A-6, which replaced the A-5 in our catalogue. October's new Fw 190A-8/R2 replaces the A-8. The Fw 190A-8/R2 was the famous armored version, used to combat heavy bombers. The A-8/R2 was contained in the Royal Class, which should eliminate any doubt as to weather or not this new one will be a good seller. I suspect that surely, yes, this Sturmböck is one of the most popular WWII subjects and maybe the most interesting member of the Fw 190 family. The other thing is that this boxing is a different product than the one in the RC edition, not as complex, which also means not as expensive (the price is the same as for other Fw 190As). Even so, it contains the standard color PE sheet, and the marking options for seven aircraft, which is not a bad number. No marking option is duplicated from the Royal Class kit, all of them are new and different, one of them is even a first time reconstruction Fw 190A-8/R2 box The second October kit release is the 1/48th scale Mirage 2000D/N. This is a well known kit, which sold out almost immediately in July, and will be re-released in October. The situation for October is very similar to July, the available quantity is now lower than already received orders. Fortunately, we were successful in securing an additional amount to increase the run of the edition. The additional batch will be received by mid October, and we will fill your orders on a first come, first served basis. Nevertheless, all told, we have some pcs of the Mirage 2000D/N, which is not a huge quantity, and recent history on this item suggests it will move quickly. Place your order as soon as you can if you are interested in this kit, or you will face the possibility of missing out Mirage 2000 D/N box

Third October kit is the 1/72nd scale Albatros D.V in a Dual Combo boxing. This one is the new edition of the older Eduard 1/72nd scale kit, in the new style packing.

3 Third October kit is the 1/72nd scale Albatros D.V in a Dual Combo boxing. This one is the new edition of the older Eduard 1/72nd scale kit, in the new style packing. This one replaces all previous Albatros D.V editions in our catalogue Albatros D.V box We have another 1/48th scale figure set ready, which is the French WWI AF Personnel Set released under the label Aeronautique Militaire Francaise The set contains six figures to include mechanics and pilots, as usual Aeronautique Militaire Francaise 1916 That's still not all, since, as usual, after our E-day show, we have a new bagged kit, used as a ticket bonus item for the show. We have the 1/144th scale Me 262 this year, under the label of the Czechoslovak version S-92/CS- 92. The kit contains one kit with two optional versions, single seater as well as a two- seater, with Czechoslovak AF markings.

Finally, there was the 1/48th scale P-39L/N in the MTO Dual Combo boxing scheduled for October as well, and this kit is now moved to the November listing.

There is also a third kit, the 1/72nd scale Modern Czech AF figure set.

I don't expect this to cause anyone great pain, considering the amount of kit releases for October. KITS FOR LATE 2007/EARLY 2008 You already know of the majority of kits slated for November. There is also a third kit, the 1/72nd scale Modern Czech AF figure set. In December, you can expect two 1/72nd scale kits, both in a Dual Combo mode: the Limited edition L-39 Albatros in an exotic African, Asian and Cuban theme, and the Nieuport 23. In 1/48th scale, you will find the Albatros D.II in a new Limited Edition boxing, and a brand new Luftwaffe Crew figure set Albatros D.II camouflages Turning to January, 2008, we will bring out two 1/48th scale Limited Edition kits, the Bristol Fighter with colorful checkerboard livery, and the Mirage 2000C. This Mirage is planned in a similar fashion to the Mirage 2000D/N, with ex-heller plastic, Eduard color PE set, and Aires resin parts, in this case, with ejection seat and exhaust nozzle. I expect there will be a lot of fun surrounding this release, however, the most enjoyable month should be February with the brand new F6F-3 Hellcat on deck. He also designed the sets for the P-47D-25 Thunderbolt and the Ki-61, introduced this month. We expect the new boss will pass his design style on to the rest of the office, and will bring his influence to bear on the designers and on other, related changes. All together, this change will improve the quality of our PE sets, with a higher user friendly quality, better and finer details, and more exact instructions. EDUARD DECEMBER 2007 RELEASES December 10th, 2007 There are times when I find discussions very surprising. Case in point: the Bf 110 wheels. Yes, I know there were two different types of wheel on C/D versions
