The extension cable improves the serviceability of the DBA System as shown in the example above. Air gaps up to.3 inch are acceptable, if this gap stays consistent from measurement cycle to measurement cycle. Sens bumpers and Vacuum cups can interfere with the sens face contact with the blank. Failure to install and adjust properly can result in double sheets not being detected. Note: The maximum single blank thickness rating of the DBA sens must be lowered to 85% of its nmal rating if bumpers vacuum cups are mounted on the sens.
