4 Hedge & Grass Cutters An arm designed for your needs With horizontal reach of 5.70 m to 6.10 m for the right-hand arm and 5.20 m to 5.70 m for the left-hand arm and a rotor-circuit power of 53 to 80 hp, the is designed to meet the needs of most professionals. Optimal visibility The 700 mm semi-leading arm: means more visibility and greater safety sweep Wide slew angle with shock-absorber at the end of travel in front of and behind the swivel cylinder. LINK-FLOAT eliminating pitching transport Transport position The machine stays within the tractor outline. Transport position is safeguarded by automatic hydraulic locks on all the cylinders. LINK-FLOAT is a hydraulic shock-absorber mounted in place of the top link. During movement, it dissipates jerking which generates driver discomfort and the "nodding" effect on the arm. Pitching is therefore eliminated and cruising speed can happily be maintained on the road.

The combination of "parallelogram" design and the new EP " electric proportional" control ensures comfort and efficiency on every type of job. EP electric proportional controls + Parallelogram design = PRODUCTIVITY GAIN EXCLUSIVE! 6 EP CONTROL Take hold of the joystick The joystick houses 4 basic electric proportional functions (pivot, mainboom, outer boom and flail head). For safety reasons, proportionality works in both directions: uphill and downhill. As for speed of operation, the 4 functions can be activated simultaneously thanks to the ergonomic grip. The swivel, arm and head obey both fingers and eyes: so work is accurate. They do not move if they are not guided. To ensure operational comfort, the has a system which slows movement at the end of arm and swivel travel: jerky movements which generate operator discomfort and affect the machine's structural sensitivity are reduced. The control panel: intelligent functionality The control panel can be dissociated from the joystick enabling you to customise your cab with a control panel where it suits you best. 7 Not on your backache! parallelogram Parallelogram: rediscover performance The main boom and outer boom are connected by a mechanical link. With a single control, the operator can drive the entire arm. 8 Hedge & Grass Cutters To tackle all types of job To cope with different types of scrub clearing jobs, the can be equipped with assorted cutting tools: > A 1.20 m mowing and scrub clearing unit: universal, mixed or wood rotor > Extra-wide cutting head (1.60 m) optional (only on models EP 5782 SPA and EP 6182 SPA) > Tree pruning saw head > Cutterbar 8 Scrub cutting rotor: efficiency first and foremost! To reduce the down time spent changing the head, the is equipped with a semi-automatic tool changing system 1. The head geometry has been designed to eliminate bottlenecks: work output is optimal. For better rolling, the sensor roller is equipped with removable end-pieces and has a large diameter tube (140 mm). Access and working in narrow ditches is possible because the height of the transmission casing is the same as that of the body. The head of models EP 5782 SPA and EP 6182 SPA consists of a mechanical piniondriven transmission. This patented drive system 2 gives the mowing unit the best working width to overall width ratio on the market. The hardened steel friction shoes are longer lasting. The rotor half-bearing is built into the body for total protection 3. Wire baffles protect the rotor bearings. Maintenance is made easier by using a removable wear plate. To optimise wear of blades and eye-mountings, the rotor is fully reversible. A choice of 3 rotors: > Universal rotor with 60 Y-shaped flails 4 for grass, scrub and wood up to 3 cm in diameter > Mixed rotor with 20 hammers 5 for grass, scrub and wood up to 6 cm in diameter for 53 hp and 62 hp models > Wood rotor with 16 hammers 6 for brush and wood up to 10 cm in diameter > Universal rotor with 46 spoon flails on the 1.60 m mowing unit

9 Saw head : for a clean, fast cut The can take a saw head equipped with 4 or 5 saw blades for a working width of 2.05 m and 2.50 m. Its 29 hp power can cut branches up to 18 mm in diameter. Its Kevlar belt transmission is still the best guarantee of long life. The 650 mm diameter saw blades (4 mm thick) can be replaced with plates holding 4 blades rotating over 360 for cutting branches not more than 20 mm in diameter. 9 Cutterbar: for safe and no maintenance pruning The cutterbar completes the range of cutting tools. With a working width of 2.05 m and 2.20 m, the cutterbar is capable of cutting wood up to 100 mm in diameter.
