1 4-way Distribution Valve for one- and two-pipe systems Product specification sheet Application 4-way distribution valves are used to connect supply and return of a radiator to the corresponding pipes of a one- or two-pipe heating circuit. Individual radiators can be shut-off without effecting or interrupting the water flow of the heating circuit. A version with a radiator proportion of 35% is available for one-pipe systems. 2 Method of Operation The 4-way distribution valve supplies incoming heating water to the connected riser tube and heating water returning from the radiator back into the heating circuit. This can be the next radiator or the return pipe to the distributor manifold (see installation examples). The radiator is shut-off from the heating circuit by closing the valve cartridge. The following radiators in the heating circuit are not affected by this. 4-way distribution valve with internal threads 4-way distribution valve with external threads Type R DN kvs- Part-No. O.S.-No. value 2-pipe, internal threads 1/ V2212Y pipe, external threads 3/ V2212X pipe, internal threads 1/ V2202Y pipe, external threads 3/ V2202X0015 Annotations to the kvs-values The kvs-value for the 1-pipe version is valid for a radiator proportion of 35% at a control deviation of 3 K and in combination with a UBG type thermostatic radiator valve body. Other thermostatic radiator valve bodies cannot be used for 1-pipe systems. The kvs-value for the 2-pipe version is valid only for the distribution valve. The kvs-value of a combination of 4-way distribution valve and thermostatic radiator valve body depends on the used thermostatic radiator valve body. The overall kv-value is calculated by putting the kv-value of the distribution valve and the kv-value of the thermostatic radiator valve body in serial connection. 2 MNG Water Control Honeywell AG
