15 Patented Self Aligning Weigh Frame The load cell assembly should only touch the top of the pipe. Force of material transferred directly to the load cells ( the weighing instrument). No mechanical levers, torsion tubes, or pivot points, which adversely affect scale accuracy and repeatability. Scale Frame is free of mechanical binding and rigidity found in all other designs. Rigidity in the scale frame produces non-linearity. Floating Frame Design reads the true weight of material, but is isolated, in large part, from mechanical noise and vibration of the conveyor. The load cell assembly should not touch the sides of the pipe.
