Tank Fittings and Accessories 2.1 Manhole 500mm I/D 8 copper alloy wing nuts, TIR sealing points provided Braided PTFE 2.2 Safety Relief Valve Assembly 2.5 (65 NB) 4.4 bar pressure only relief valve with flameproof gauze. Adaptor flange with provision for rupture disc and manometer fitment. Solid PTFE Weld-in pad drilled - 4 x M16 holes on a 145.0mm PCD. Tank pad fitted horizontally. 2.3 Air Inlet Assembly 1½ 1½" stainless steel ball valve with 1½" BSP terminal connection, captive blank cap and provision for manometer fitment. No gauze fitted. Weld-in pad drilled - 4 x M10 holes on a 103.4mm PCD. Tank pad fitted horizontally. 2

3 2.4 Top Discharge Provision 3 (102 NB to suit 3 syphon tube) 3" Weld in and blank stainless steel flanges. Envelope PTFE gasket Weld-in pad dual drilled - 6 x M12 holes on a 168mm PCD and 4 x M16 holes on a 160mm PCD. Tank pad fitted horizontally. 2.5 Level Indicator A 1 ball valve is fitted to the bottom discharge BSP spigot with 25mm braided clear PVC hose mounted on the inside of the rear left hand side corner post. The braided hose terminates above the liquid level with a U bend. 2.6 Bottom Discharge Assembly Remark 3 (80 NB) 45º Stainless steel Highlift foot valve 3 clamp type butterfly valve 3" BSP stainless steel outlet with captive blank cap Envelope PTFE gasket A cable remote control system fitted to handle on right hand side with provision for fusible link is connected to the internal valve handle. 2.7 Protective Housing / Spill Box Two 304 stainless steel The housings are provided with 25mm PVC external drainage tubes. The rear box contains the top discharge provision and air inlet assembly. The centre box contains the manhole and safety relief valve assembly. 2.8 Protective Housing / Bottom Cabinet 304 stainless steel A stainless steel housing is provided, without floor or door. The housing contains the bottom discharge assembly 2.9 Walkways Top completely covered with walkways (except spill boxes). Marine resistant aluminium ASTM B209 M86 or 5052H32 or equivalent 2.10 Insulation Barrel: Ends: Polyurethane panels nominal thickness 45mm where possible on barrel, incorporating compressed mineral wool over steam elements. Pre moulded polyurethane foam 2.11 Cladding 3

4 2 mm White GRP panels on barrel 3 panels with centre panel fitted first and outer panels second. White GRP preformed panels on ends All joints and seams sealed, customs rivets fitted 2.12 Steam Heating Steam Connections 8 Longitudinal stainless steel elements (affective area 8m²) Inlet 1" BSP connection with captive plastic cap Outlet 3/4" BSP connection with captive plastic cap Duplex and 304 Stainless steel The steam outlet will be positioned with clear access for steam supply hose and fitting Calibration Etched stainless steel 20% calibration plate in litres and US gallons fitted adjacent to manlid. No dipstick or bracket fitted Thermometer 100mm dial diameter Dual scale -40ºC to 160ºC Gas filled capillary fitted. Shock resistance glass. Glycerine filled Analogue thermometer fitted to rear dome at lower left hand side Ladder Hot dipped galvanized carbon steel sections Ladder comprises two vertical posts with 300 mm wide anti slip rungs in accordance with ITCO recommendations. Handgrip provided at the top of the end frame adjacent to the ladder. Fasteners welded to prevent theft 2.16 Earth Connection 1-off 304 stainless steel plate 42 x 30 x 3 mm with a 9 mm hole is located at rear of tank frame Document Holder 1-off document holder with BSP cap to be provided. The holder to be water resistant and fixed in a position that affords adequate protection Stencilling / Isotank identification Location: on all 4 sides of each isotank, in large font. Tanks to be marked: GB013 and up (ie GB014, GB015 etc ) All tanks to be marked Groupement Berkine Sonatrach Anadarko) Data Plate A stainless steel data plate, to code requirements, to be welded to the frame. 3 Cleaning & Painting 3.1 Cleaning 4

5 On completion of fabrication, the vessel's internal surface to be degreased, pickled, passivated and neutralised. The opening points sealed so that the tank is supplied clean and ready for use. Manufacturer cleaning certificate to be provided. 3.2 Painting The carbon steel frame components are shot blasted to ISO :1988 SA 2½ Blast profile microns and painted as follows: Hempadur (or equivalent) zinc primer micron min DFT Hempatex (or equivalent) hi-build micron min DFT Total 120 micron min DFT Colour - The frame to be RAL orange Shell Exterior: Welds descaled Barrel cleaned, degreased and anti-stress corrosion lacquer applied 4. Test and Homologations 4.1 Each tank container to be constructed according to an approved design and under the supervision and approval of competent authority. 4.2 Each production unit to be subject to testing and non-destructive examination as required by ASME VIII Division 1, UIC and each tank container will be inspected and certified by a third party independent inspector (TPI). 4.3 The tank container will be specially tested and approved for a stacking load of Kg This is in accordance with nine-high stacking. 4.4 The tank container will fulfil the performance specification of the following international organisations' regulations and recommendations and is supplied with their approvals.
