16 Assembly 7.3 Magnetic Switch MMS 30 NOTICE Sensor can be damaged during assembly. Do not exceed the maximum tightening torque of 10 Ncm for the set screws. Assembly of the magnetic switch NOTE Ferromagnetic material changes the switching positions of the sensor. For example: Adapter plate made of ordinary steel. At ferromagnetic adapter plates: The module must firstly be mounted on the adapter plate Then, the positions of the magnetic switch have to be set The magnetic switches can be mounted via four grooves in the housing of the module. Adjusting the switching position is carried out as follows: 1 Position the unit in the desired rotation angle. 2 Insert the magnetic switch in the groove. 3 Move the magnetic switch along the groove until the magnetic switch starts to switch. 4 Secure the magnetic switch. (see enclosed data sheet) 5 Check the switching position of the magnetic switch by swiveling the module multiple times GFS en
17 Assembly NOTE For monitoring the locked center position it is recommended to use four magnetic switches: two sensors for monitoring each of the two end positions for monitoring the approach of the center position from the stop position 0 for monitoring the approach of the center position from the stop position GFS en 17
