2 FORESTRY Designed for the rigors of heavy forestry applications & road building, demolition and material handling, as well as extreme climate conditions. Commonly used for: loading, unloading, feeding, clean-up, precision handling, demolition, brush piling. Controlled articulation & positioning from bucket cylinder and linkage. 3 Valving Valve in head configuration is best suited for standard excavators. Valve on machine is best suited for machine already equipped with additional hydraulics. Bearing Rugged main bearing & large capacity through-bolted external gear slewing ring with bolt-on guard (see hydraulic system illustration). Heavy duty cylinders Centralized counterbalance valves secure your payload, in the event of a pressure loss. High pressure seals. Thick wall construction. Options Dual rotate motors for additional rotational torque. Valve in head or valve on machine configurations. Open/close/rotate: proportional control. Rotational float. Modular saw option for clamshell bucket & brush rake grapple configurations. Recommended additional counterweight (approximately 1,500# - 2,000#). Hydraulic kits & required boom plumbing. Fixed heel option for improved log handling ability. Electrical system Momentary rotational float allows payload s momentum to pivot work tool (optional). Maintenance Easy access to all service and maintenance locations. Bolt-on cover plates protect main bearing and other serviceable locations during operation. Excavator requirements GPM supply & return circuit.

4 STRUCTURE T-1 steel used for superior strength & AR-400 used for abrasive resistant surfaces. Common upper housing integrates lugging interface to any excavator. Enclosed upper housing protects hydraulic components from debris & impacts. Bolt-on replaceable, serrated side edges. Replaceable bucket teeth. Grapple legs: box construction. Tines Interchangeability: switch from clamshell bucket to brush grapple without the investment of another dedicated work tool. Simply utilize the common structure and interchange the legs/tines only. Replaceable, weld-on or pin-on oem tips (Esco teeth, or other). PINS & BUSHINGS Large diameter, HRHT 4140 alloy pins. Aluminum bronze bushings (arms and cylinders). Standard Hydraulic Core Rotational Bearing Hydraulic Manifolds High Pressure Swivel Cylinder Manifold With Built-In Counterbalance Valve Rotate Motor HYDRAULIC SYSTEM Direct coupled rotate drive with double supported pinion gear and high output motor(s). 360 degree high pressure swivel designed for long life, and equipped with roller bearing support, internal drain and HP seals. Modular bolt-on hydraulic options (secondary rotate motor, saw function, valve in head, etc.). Dual rotate motors for additional rotational torque (optional). Open/close/rotate: on/off or proportional control (optional). Versatile plumbing: all plumbing to stick tip exits on left side of upper housing (best for road building), or plumbing exits from both sides (best for demolition),depends upon final application. System designed for high pressure hydraulic systems. In standard directional control, spool limiters allow for rotational & open/close speed adjustments.
