The little town of Vreten (just south of Sköde) has been the company's base since initiation back in the 1880s. From here, countless numbers of axes, ploughs, trailers and cranes have been supplied to farmers, foresters and contractors who demand the very best. Our long tradition of design and manufacturing has helped us develop the expertise and craftsmanship which now stand as core qualities of what we lovingly refer to as "vretenskap" the science of Vreten. MOST COMPLETE RANGE OF CRANES ON THE MARKET Vreten offers a broad range of cranes with ranges from 5.1 m to 8.1 m. We recently expanded our range even further with easy-to-handle parallel cranes, which require less hydraulic oil fl ow and can therefore be connected to even smaller models of tractors. The cranes are operated with a mechanical valve, a servo-assisted hydraulic valve or an electric proportional valve. TRAILERS WITH OR WITHOUT AUXILIARY DRIVE The trailer range is made up of models that can handle loads ranging from 7 to 14 tonnes. The biggest models have an auxiliary drive in the form of a hydraulic reel drive that drives all four wheels. Vreten dealers are at your service to adapt couplings between tractor and trailer/crane as necessary. 4 Trailers Vreten offers a broad range of trailers to meet a number of different needs. All models are made of high-quality steel in our workshops in Vreten. 16 Parallel cranes Vreten's parallel cranes are designed with the latest technology for simple operation, manoeuvrability, speed and precision. With the help of a folding cylinder, the crane tip can be moved in a straight path, parallel to the ground. 21 VRETEN CUT 18 Vreten Cut 18 is designed for energy wood. It s booth for loading and for simultaneous felling of energy wood. Vreten Cut 18 is constructed with fixed knife and it s easy to service. To switch the felling head in the loader is quick and no additional hosing is necessary. Vreten Cut 18 is made in Swedish steel and of course made by Vreten AB in Sweden.
