Turn the ignition switch ON. Turn the intelligent tester main switch on. Select the item below in the ACTIVE TEST and then check the relay operation. (b) Measure the resistance. resistance Battery kω or higher 3-5 Reinstall the TAIL relay. Below Ω (When battery voltage is applied between terminals and ) REPLACE TAIL RELAY Ohmmeter E09078E06

(b) Measure the resistance. resistance Condition - Body ground Always to 4 V 5 - Body ground Always to 4 V Reinstall the TAIL relay. B3893E0 REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU 5 INSPECT BULB (FRONT TURN SIGNAL GHT) Front Turn Signal Light* (a) Remove the front turn signal lights. front turn signal light illuminates. Positive battery - Terminal Negative battery - Terminal Front turn signal light illuminates *: LH or RH B36088E0 Reinstall the front turn signal lights. REPLACE BULB
4 66 GHTI GHTI SYSTEM 6 CHECK HARNESS AND (MAIN BODY ECU - FRONT TURN SIGNAL GHT) Wire Harness Side: Front Turn Signal Light Connector * A6 * A0 *: LH *: RH Main Body ECU Connector B (a) Disconnect the A6 and A0 front turn signal light connectors. (b) Disconnect the B main body ECU connector. Measure the resistance. resistance (d) (e) A6- - B-9 Below Ω A0- - B- Below Ω A6- or B-9 - Body ground 0 kω or higher A0- or B- - Body ground 0 kω or higher Reconnect the front turn signal light connectors. Reconnect the main body ECU connector B389E0 (FRONT TURN SIGNAL GHT - BODY GROUND) 7 INSPECT BULB (TAILGHT) Taillight* (a) Remove the taillights. taillight illuminates. 3 Positive battery - Terminal Negative battery - Terminal Taillight illuminates *: LH or RH Reinstall the taillights. B4038E0 REPLACE BULB

B3894E0 REPLACE BULB 9 CHECK HARNESS AND (MAIN BODY ECU - TAILGHT, CENSE PLATE GHT) Wire Harness Side: Taillight Connector L L4 * * 3 *: LH *: RH License Plate Light Connector (a) Disconnect the L and L4 taillight connectors. (b) Disconnect the S license plate light connector. Disconnect the F main body ECU connector. (d) Measure the resistance. resistance F-3 - L- Below Ω F-3 - L4- Below Ω F-3 - S- Below Ω F-3 or L- or Body ground 0 kω or higher F-3 or L4- or Body ground 0 kω or higher F-3 or S- or Body ground 0 kω or higher S (e) (f) (g) Reconnect the taillight connectors.
