9 8 HELLA solutions for more safety and comfort during the daily work routine Vehicle lighting plays an important role when it is a question of safety and a convenient working environment. Especially when it comes to workplace safety, there still are many situations that are in need of improvement. It is for example important that danger zones can be optically marked out or marked off whenever such a need arises so that everyone in the affected area can be warned and protected in good time. Until, now, this had to be done by the driver or by other workers who would manually mark off the concerned areas. This meant that it was not possible to demarcate individual sectors as required in a simple, swift and safe action. With its VISIOTECH projection technology, HELLA has introduced products on the market, which can remedy exactly such situations. Oncoming traffic should however not only be warned or made aware but also experience as little glaring as possible so that accidents due to glaring and poor visibility can be avoided. This is why HELLA has developed the glare-free ZEROGLARE illumination that does not glare oncoming traffic. ZEROGLARE-technology for glare-free illumination In order to expand the same safety and comfort from the automotive area to other target groups, HELLA has developed a new optical system for work lights. The ZEROGLARE system ensures that drivers of oncoming vehicles are not glared. Unlike the usual LED work lights, the light/dark cut-off line appears very sharp here and the light of the ZEROGLARE headlamps is directed specifically onto the area in front of the vehicle. This technology uses light to project various symbols and types of illumination onto the ground. This application serves to warn other vehicles or pedestrians of an oncoming vehicle. The lines projected in front of a vehicle can, however, also be used as a means for simpler vehicle navigation. Projecting symbols can also easily and safely mark work areas. The result is more safety, comfort and convenience during the daily work routine. The application of VISIOTECH technology products is approved for applications outside the StVZO. This technology uses light to project various symbols and types of illumination onto the ground. The result is more safety, comfort and convenience during the daily work routine. For the SL60 warning light, a special lens optic allows the light rays to converge so much that and a strip-shaped warning line is projected onto the ground. Depending on the type of mounting, the warning line can be projected in front of the vehicle either horizontally or vertically. This application serves to warn other vehicles or pedestrians of an oncoming vehicle. The lines projected in front of a vehicle can, however, also be used as a means of simpler vehicle navigation. But in both instances, occupational safety and also comfort and convenience are significantly ramped up and consequently accidents are prevented from the outset. 26 WORKLIGHTS 25 The Modul 50 LED spot warning light projects a circular warning point on the ground. Once again, a special lens optic bundles the LED light so much that a circular warning spot is projected onto the ground. This application is suitable for a wide variety of areas (e.g. forklifts). Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Modul 50 LED spot is particularly well-suited when little space is available for installation. These headlamps are used especially as warning lights to visually warn other vehicles or pedestrians about an oncoming vehicle. But it can also be used for optically marking certain areas. The Modul 50 LED spot warning light is available in the colours blue, green, red, and white. Using the SL60 LED and Modul 50 LED spot warning light is permitted for applications outside the StVZO.
